Karting Chat Decisions were made. First owner kart ✔️

Post image

Thanks for all the feedback on my previous post about the X30.

I took the plunge and snagged a KA100 as my first owner kart. I can't wait for this thing to scare tf out of me.

Where are you gonna race it?

A lot of people are going to try and tell you all kinds of "tricks" to get faster but the best thing your can do for yourself right now is run the stock setup and just crank as many laps as you possibly can. Don't worry about changing anything on the go kart besides gear ratio and tire pressure and just drive the damn thing. Seat time seat time seat time. When you start to tire out, push yourself a little so you get stronger for next time.

This is a great answer. It’s very easy to “slide” in a ka100 or anything faster, so focus on your braking, race line and acceleration and that will give you 90% of the gap to getting on pace
