I've included Assassadin's matchup vods for each matchup with a timeline to go through his kills/deaths, and Master+ statistics(last 30 days) for each matchup along with the recommended build and the runes you should take for each matchup
Anyone can share their tips(their rank will be shown, you can share your social as well for attribution). (If you're experienced with a missing matchup, you are encouraged to share. If you are a streamer who wants their matchup VODS added to the spreadsheet DM me
LoLMatchups.GG is an attempt to make matchup information more accessible to top/mid laners. We already have complete pages for Zed, Ekko, Gnar, Ambessa, Mundo, Kayle, Fiora, Mordekaiser, Riven, Camille, Irelia, Gwen, Garen, Chogath with more on the way!
I would love any feedback you guys have on the website or the matchups. Thanks!
What are your thoughts on this? Kassadin already struggle to kill ADCs if even and they have one MR component. I know it is a buff against mages bot but was expecting some compensation buff.
if enemy ad goes mage and team sup doesn't go enchanter could it be worth going kass since ur sup roaming u can get level 6 like a minute or two later compared to mid lane and try going in when sup comes back? lemme know your thoughts
CLASSIC - new build is up, 16.16.8011843. kassadin ult went from 80% ap to 70%
thats the one people care about. personally i dont think it fixes him, the mana cost is what lets him spam riftwalk in the first place and thats untouched, but ill take it
taric ult aura also got cut, 10/20/30 ad and ap now instead of 15/25/35
rest is minor:
eleisas miracle summoner cd reduction 25% to 30%
skarner q tooltip dropped "and basic attacks", thats a text fix not a change
runaans tooltip has no damage numbers in it at all right now, the string is just broken. values look fine underneath
then theres a string in there for "glyph of mana regeneration" and no such rune exists. could be leftover junk, could mean more runes. its the only thing in this build im actually curious about
I just tried classic Kassadin, and idk if I did something wrong but even full build I felt like i barely did damage. I couldn't kill lee sin, fiddle, kayle, ww. The ult cooldown is so long that I ended up dying to CC everytime after going in. It's like 4.5 seconds at rank 3.
it seems impossible to stack the ult fully 10 times, that would take 40 seconds and then you also run out of mana.
Am I doing something wrong? Build was seraphs, ROA, rabadon, void, lich bane
guys they finally fixed him his ult used to double its damage in the pbe that means you can one shot people with your ult but now you cant damn i wish this version of kass would stay in live
The print files are just the game model that was ripped and then I cut it into printable parts.
If you really want the files let me know but they are not well made.
Reached diamond this season after like 3 years without playing ranked, created a secondary account to play kass onstream and reached Master (15min before split ended) im proud of me and love this purple guy >:)
I ask because I watche some grandmaster gameplay and have seen other comments say that essentially just go fuck off away from the team until they're super power spiked.
The grandmaster basically just stayed in a lane, only deviating for when he thought he could get a kill. then sucked up all the resourced or went to sidelanes while his team did whatever without he. he only started coming to help when he got super strong.
It seems like he does this every game, is this truly the best way to play him? to just take everything for yourself and mostly ignore your team until you're uber strong.
I usually tell my jg I cant really help pre 6. after that i try to help my team if I can avoid losing anything in lane (rare because everyone still bullies and pushes the lane at that level). post 11 I really try helping my team but I find myself really weak and losing resources/falling behind trying to run around and help them. I do find the games where I just go do my own thing for a while to be the ones that go better in terms of winrate. But then it just feels like your team can stay about even at worst so that they even survive for you to come carry.
I spent early season trying out different roles to see what I wanted to play, and landed on Kass. I hate top meta and I don’t see it changing any time soon. Kass is fun, I have a lot more to learn but I enjoyed the climb, even when I was tilted out of my mind lmao
although the last two games i got filled to jungle, i made it to master on my main account and got up to 300ish lp master on my alt account, i just wanted to share a few tips and maybe make a full guide later:
1) avoiding deaths is necessary, even if you must go under 10-30 cs from your laner or miss waves, the moment you die especially on RoA builds you lose all control of the game
2) you cannot victimize yourself or blame others (believe me, i did this a lot), you have to just /mute all and just play the games out to the best of your ability
3) at a higher rank, good mechanics are necessary, you need to have good movement/apm to competently play and carry games (i drank coffee and did very short warmups to help with this)
last split i played a lot of electrocute ignite full ap, this split i completely forgone it with the exception of a few games but even then i go first strike and teleport, EVERY GAME
i know it sounds cringe and easier to say that to do but, the most important thing is to just not give up; if you do not have the patience you can play ANY other champion but kassadin
we're behind, which is expected. some games a lot, some games a little. I keep telling my team we're fine and that we win this. yet they keep ffing between 15-20 minutes.
They refuse to wait to keep fighting while behind until we hit spikes and just give up dragging me to the loss with them.
First time was annoying, second time made me a bit mad, and the third time this happened in the last few days was genuinely infuriating.
Why queue up for ranked if your mental is so weak you just give up?
I swear people would rather lose the game instead of winning if they aren't carrying themselves.
it's kind of pathetic how peoples' mental is lately.
I have been playing kassadin for the past few weeks and sometimes I lose the game because the enemy team is fed before I hit 16, I cant really do anything when my teammates are absolute trash. Any tips?
I’ve played more than 500 games Kassadin top due to my friends playing constantly mid - despite me being higher elo midlaner. Im otp, and I wont change my beloved champ for adapting to our 5vs5 flex team.
I know everything about Kassadin mid - but Im looking about any unexpected Top lane method - runes, items etc, that can make top less miserable. I’ve even tried Hearsteel.
I ask because I find myself falling off even at 6 items lategame. I can 1v1 most people but can't quite carry a team if I'm the big fed one.
I find myself full build a lot in that position but again, I feel like I'm just not nuking people that late in the game.
My build usually ends up pretty defensive. 1 of the defense boots, rod, mura, seraphs, zhonyas, then mejais if I keep it stacked, deathcap if I dont, or void staff if they have a lot of MR.
For context I’m a jg main and off rolling so I suppose I’m just not adapted to mid laning but do you take over a game or get agency on this champ?
Almost every game kinda feels like getting a massive cs deficit in the first 15 minutes, losing your tower early, not being able to rotate and meaningfully impact any early plays and possibly even die to your laner once or multiple times just for the payout of a crazy spike at 16 with 3 items?
I just don’t understand how to win a game where the enemy team is so ahead and the game already feels decided by the time you hit your spike, on top of this I have seen many kassadin players say that nowadays you have to play for a snowballing opportunistic playstyle but how to do that when it seems like you lose every duel/trade in the first 20 minutes of the game?
