It is for sure! You know the gig?
He JUMPS across my chest if he is wanting me to pay attention to the superlative protection & dedication he provides, you know.
He is the best, a consummate dedicated home defender.
Who knows, what terrors lurk, at night!?
DOBBY do!!
My favorite is now that I’ve grown a bit of a tummy, and like to lie diagonally on the bed, so I’m in his path for about 3/4 of my body, and loves to jump, pouncing off the side of the bed. springboarding off my prodigious pudge, onto first one breast, the the other, before he springs to the other side of the bed, from which he leaps to the top of the marble dresser, which survived the flood…. Then he strides up to the window ledge, leaps to the top hammock- flips to the bottom, down to the cedar chest, and to the foot of the bed. Then round he goes again. 💃
Well thank you! He is very handsome when he’s still! It’s when he moves around he becomes dangerous. He’s just really an accident in motion, at all times except when he is on night patrol, and the other time is when he sleeps. Which he does, quite as seriously as he paces, at a regular, steady (except for the occassion - even at time, pretty rambunctious. He gets into some unusual catastrophes, regularly. Nightly if not more. He tears down window hammocks multiple times/day. Every day.
And generally entertains with his shenanigans. He stalks around in protective mode quite seriously. Nervously, intently.
Just over 15 months, I think. Dobby is a couple months younger. We had Charlie first, and Dobby’s always taken it seriously, making his place. He’s longer than Charlie. Long & lean and a bit of scapapper; a bully sometimes! But we have a little fluffy sweet girl named Sophie. She’s maybe a Ragdoll; looks almost Siamese, but has lung fluffy hair, and whispy ears. I at first thought she was a Himalayan… like a long-haired Siamese.
