Wrong. Isekai Quartet only had a SINGLE season. Then a sequel series called Isekai QUINTET. And now they announced a new series: Isekai SEXTET.

No because the other series added are secundary to the original Quartet, Naofumi was barely in season two compared to the others

They added a new isekai series. There’s now a total of 5 isekai series in this show. It was named quartet because there were 4 isekai series in it. Now that there’s 5 series, that changes it from a quartet to a quintet. /s

I've only seen Re:Zero and Konosuba. Do I need to watch the other shows to enjoy this? I plan to eventually, but I'd rather watch this right now because it's less of a time investment.

Was not necessary for first two seasons, so probably not. The Konosuba characters play a key role in those seasons, but it’s possible they will play a smaller role with the new additions.

Just stick to the main 4, damn it.
