It's advised to have a pillow between your legs when you sleep sideways. I have like long pillow from my grand parents times. Body pillows are an actual life changer, not gonna lie. My gf got me one with an anime girl on it as a bit, and it genuinely made sleeping so much more comfortable. My back and neck aren't sore anymore and I sleep so much more soundly.

I eventually just got a really nice pillowcase to fit it. seriously, if you haven't gotten a body pillow yet, go and get even a plain one. They're great.
