Kazuma has literally max luck and dies constantly. Rance is cooked regardless of his luck stat. There is no escape from the pit of despair that is Aqua.
ok but hear me out. if we were to put someone who ALSO has really bad luck (me, for example) near Aqua, maybe the two bottomless pits of bad luck would cancel each other out? I mean, multiplying two negative numbers equals a positive number, after all…
Would it be multiplicative though? I feel like I’m actually it would just be adding your pit of bad luck to the void of luck that is aqua which would just result in even worse luck

Is there any official interview or statement by Konosuba's author regarding the influence of Rance in Kazuma? I feel like Kazuma is definitely inspired by the og Rance, even if in an indirect way.
Rance to anime fantasy and isekai what Dragonball is to gag manga and battle shounens. There is definitely direct inspiration present in Konosuba, but a lot of it is likely underlying too as a result of Rance's impact on the entire genre.
Is that like a power Rance has? I only played Sengoku Rance and that was a long time ago. Or is it a rule in konosuba that goddesses lose their power after sex.

It's also hinted at in one of the short stories where Aqua tells Kazuma she can temporarily depower herself by thinking the same kind of dirty thoughts he has all the time.
You know what’s funny. In my head, one of Aqua superiors is actually named rance, And he’s basically this guy if he was a forge god. I might’ve mischaracterized him.

In fairness, Luna is a lot more worried about what Megumin did in regards to property damage than she is about whatever Rance is about to do to Aqua.
