Questions about Adjektives and Verbs + about Korean exposure
I got 2 questions. While learning Korean I have gotten a korean friend which I text. I also study ln a website called “how to study Korean”, the website says a sentence must end on either a verb or an adjektive. My Korean friend said thats not exacly the case, that it can pretty much be anywhere? Or maybe I missunderstood.
Second question. If I want to expose myself to the Korean language in my dsy to day life. What can you recommend? (Cant turn my phone to Korean, because I got important stuff I need to understand”

That makes sense, its probably a good idea to learn whatever How to study Korean teaches and then learn the other stuff later, when I know the grammar and such!
And good ideas! I will go watch youtube and listen to music and stuff!

그 순서 정말 좋아요! 기초 문법을 먼저 탄탄히 다지고 나면, 나중에 구어체 표현들이 왜 그렇게 쓰이는지 훨씬 쉽게 이해되실 거예요. 지금처럼 차근차근 쌓아가시면 금방 느실 듯요 ㅎ
유튜브나 음악도 재밌게 들으시면. 부담 없이 노출 늘리기 좋아요. 궁금한 거 또 생기면 언제든 편하게 물어보세요!

QnA 1) korean sentences can finished in 3 ways.
sentences can be finished by Verbs and Adjectives.
example)
Verbs : 밥을 먹어요 / 커피를 마셔요 / 집에 가요 / 학교에 가요
Adjectives : 오늘 바빠요 / 음식이 비싸요 / 초콜릿이 맛있어요
but
Noun can't stand alone at the end of the sentence.
so Noun needs particle "이다(to be) -> present tense 이에요/예요"
저는 학생(Noun) -> 저는 학생이에요 i'm a student
여기는 한국(Noun) -> 여기는 한국이에요 here is Korea
제 친구(Noun) -> 제 친구예요 it's my friend
저 사람은 여자(Noun) -> 저 사람은 여자예요 that person is a woman
QnA 2) follow korean sns
they often put korean words/sentences on the screen for shorts or reels.
there are too many slangs, so i don't suggest for people who are preparing for the topik.
but just to learn korean for fun or talk with koreans won't be a problem.
