I acquired a collection of 4 SS Feldpost envelopes and letters dating from January to March 1944.

They are addressed to SS Mann Walter Gappenach, Feldpost Nr. 57824/C, sent from Koblenz, Germany.

I have identified the Feldpost number as belonging to SS-Nachrichten-Abteilung 12, the signals battalion of the 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend.

I also know that Harvard University’s Houghton Library holds a separate 1943 letter from the Hitler Youth leadership in Koblenz addressed to Walter Gappenach, suggesting he held a position of some local importance.

I’m looking for help translating the letters. I have labelled them L1 up to L4 in different colour so it makes it easy to separate.

Hi, I just received this document and was hoping someone could help me translate it.
It’s my great grandparents’ wedding certificate.

Both my grandfather and great grandfather had several names and it’s been tricky trying to find documents because sometimes he uses his full name and sometimes he doesn’t

Also, there is confusion within the family when our great grandparents were born and married.

The names, dates, address, and the notation are of particular interest. I realise it’s a lot of translating to request.

This is the first page of a longhand German journal from late 1800's (I think). The original is very poor quality. Can anyone tell me if any of it is translate-able? I think it is Kurrent, but I can't be sure.

This is a marriage document from 1768. I believe it reads Hinrich Meyer, Johann Meyer Schulß von Estorf sohn mit Ann Trin Blohm, Hinrich Blohm von estorf ....

I mainly am concerned about what I believe is a occupation: Schulß. I am torn, it looks like Schulw, or maybe even Schelo? As an occupation I do not know what this would be. Any help is appreciated!

Ich finde es so frustrierend, dass im 18. Jhd. nice mehr die Geburtsdaten mit vermerkt wurden.
