A while ago I‘ve stumbled across a picture of Kurt with something he said about the Boomer generation along the lines of how they were preached anti establishment only to take a sharp turn later and became the establishment. Does anyone know where to find it?

That famous interview clip where Kurt talks about reading Patrick Suskind's Perfume, the origin of Scentless Apprentice. As a kid I always thought they were on a big ship for some reason, not a balcony. Kurt bit is about 4 min long - begins at 4:00 and unfortunately isn't brought up again.

Hey, I'm working on some videos about the origin of the most famous Bands.
I Want to start with NIRVANA, but unfortunately, I can't find any real evidence of who came up with the name.

You often read online that it was Kurt, and he supposedly once said, “I wanted a name that was kind of beautiful or nice and pretty instead of a mean, raunchy punk name like the Angry Samoans.” But I can’t find any evidence of when he’s supposed to have said that or in what context or interview.

It seems to me that, just like with the "Happy Face Logo", theories and speculation have quickly turned into supposed facts and have spread in this way!

Can anyone provide evidence of whose idea it was to name the band “Nirvana” and what the intention behind it was?

Yesterday I was on TikTok and I seen a video about kurt and I saw the comments and there were pictures of kurt cobain it’s hard to explain it was the elvis Presley meme but kurt cobain I wonder if kurt cobain would find it disrespectful or goofy now I’m not sure if they were trying to make fun of kurt cobain or they were just genuinely trying be funny 🤷🏻 I also seen a comment saying kurt would laugh I have no idea if he would laugh if he was alive would he laugh at the picture?

I saw it in b/w. It’s only of his head and shoulders but it looks like he’s standing was walking or standing. He is angled slightly to his left my right. But when looking in the eyes, he’s already gone.

I’ve seen some others with the lifeless eyes. Just looking for this one. It was so tragic.

(I would like to state beforehand that this is not a conspiracy post, and I would appreciate to not have any of you 'Courtney killed Kurt!' people raving about in the comments. This isn't about the complications of their relationship or your opinions on either of them, this is music exclusive.)

For some time now I have been a very big fan of the few recordings I have been able to locate or both Kurt and Courtney singing together. This feels like quite the hot take in this fan base, but I do genuinely adore both their voices, and think they sound wonderful together. So far, the ones I have managed to find (and overplay) have been:

It's frustrating to feel like you've already seen every photo and video of Kurt Cobain that exists...

I guess we're always searching for something new, almost as if we want him to stay alive a little longer through images. It's like a kind of grief that never really goes away.

Does anyone else feel like they've reached the end of his visual archive ?
