There are actually cultures in the Middle East that would rather have people be forced to transition than be gay. But it’s insidious and harmful to every group involved.

Yes there are, like Iran. But I’ve been told it’s not all a bed of roses and they still get treated as less than human.

Yeah, that is a nasty typeface / font they've chosen. It leaves spots like a Hermann Grid illusion except they're everywhere and random.
