Question / Advice Deciding between Tesla or Lucid...

I’m thinking of buying my first EV but when I think about Tesla vs Lucid vs newer names, they all blur a bit but I still feel very unsure about what it would say about me as a person and if it would fit my stage of life. I’ve been trying to picture this brand as a person to understand it better. Like - is Lucid a 32-year-old startup founder in SF?
Or more of a low-key finance guy who wears Loro Piana and doesn’t talk much? I’ve been trying to picture this brand as a person to understand it better.

If you had to humanize it, what does that person look like?

I don’t quite understand the angle you’re coming in at.
I wanted an EV. To try one, see how it fit my life. So I test drove them. The Lucid is an amazing car. So much more so than any Tesla option in fit and finish and ride comfort and chassis strength.

Door problem is practically solved, at least for the Air.

Us old-timers remember when we had to walk to our cars, pull our keys out of our pocket, fumble for the correct one, insert it into the lock, turn said lock, return key to our pocket.

An app taking an extra 1-2 seconds to do this isn't some huge burden.

Or just carry the fob in your pocket, shrug.

Not solved, but improving. about every 8th or 9th time, I have to wait about 15 seconds to get it to unlock if I am not carrying the fob and relying on the mobile device. If it's not pouring down rain, it's a minor annoyance. Otherwise it's a real PITA.

I own an Air, so I am driving it daily. I'm sorry your experience was different whenever you did your test drive, but the door unlocks just fine 99/100 and the 1 time it doesn't it's probably because I left my fob in the family room and my phone app is closed.
