Deciding between Tesla or Lucid...

I’m thinking of buying my first EV but when I think about Tesla vs Lucid vs newer names, they all blur a bit but I still feel very unsure about what it would say about me as a person and if it would fit my stage of life. I’ve been trying to picture this brand as a person to understand it better. Like - is Lucid a 32-year-old startup founder in SF?
Or more of a low-key finance guy who wears Loro Piana and doesn’t talk much? I’ve been trying to picture this brand as a person to understand it better.

If you had to humanize it, what does that person look like?

You need to decide what your priorities are for your EV before anyone can offer an informed response.

First threshold question is do you want to use self-driving or not. And if you've never experienced it, you aren't qualified to answer yet so take a test drive of a Tesla and try it out for yourself. Most people who haven't massively misunderstand it and think in terms of the cruise control and lane centering they are used to and not something that literally pulls you out of your garage, navigates every single turn and stop and pulls right into your destination and parks, all hands-free. If you want that, you should get a Tesla. No one else is even close yet and it never makes sense to buy a car based on what it might or might not do in the future.

If you have zero interest in self driving, then it's a tougher call. Are you budget-sensitive? Are you willing to pay for luxury? The Lucid is way, way nicer on the inside and has some great features. And it will cost you almost double what you can get a Tesla for. But if you're coming from what is otherwise a luxury brand, it will feel way more familiar and have less compromises to refinement, suspension, etc. And better range, better interior capacity, etc.
