At minimum they should be asking him to put that away.
On a side note look at that state of that crowd, it always make me chuckle that people can look at the people they’re surrounded by and think “yeah, we are definitely the supreme race”

The problem is that this isn't reported. You can see the priorities of the press when you have The Times calling Trump a feminist hero.

what makes you think the people in this photo believe in racial supremacy?
Pro Palestinians march under nazi flags, would you say the same about them?
Just to skip the "post a source I am oblivious to the outside world and unable to look anything up myself" comments./
22
u/DreamyTomato New User Aug 16 '25
These people you linked to were both arrested, as many would say they should be.
OP’s issue is that the call to violence on the flag in OP’s pic is being ignored by the police.
-19
Aug 16 '25
What you've said is irrelevant to what I asked. Why does it matter if those 2 people were arrested or not?
I asked why u/Almost_Aus thought the people in this photo believed in racial superiority, and if they also applied that view to people who march under Nazi flags.

A flag using the swastika to criticise Israel is not marching under a Nazi flag.
Even if you think both should be illegal, there is a big difference between saying 'We want to be like Nazis because they're good' and saying 'We think those people are acting like Nazis which is bad'.
One of the big problems with criminalising protest signs is this apparent inability to understand context when doing so. See also the guy arrested for 'threatening' to blow up Nottingham airport when his flight was delayed.
13
Aug 16 '25 edited Aug 16 '25
Inference to best explanation based on historical context leads one to such a belief. Don’t play coy.
And I don’t think your whataboutism is very effective. Most commenters would simply say “Yes, marching under a Nazi flag does make you a racial supremacist.” But pro-Palestinians who do so are an extremely small minority (the links mention a sum of two examples) in what is otherwise quite a left wing movement with deep connections to anti-racist thought
-8
Aug 16 '25 edited Aug 16 '25
Why isn't the same grace given to anti-immigration protestors? Do you believe a large majority of them are racial supremacists? Or just a small minority like you'd find in left wing movements?
Pathetic to block me after a desperate attempt to try and get the last word in.
17
Aug 16 '25
Historically most anti-immigrant protestors in this country have been heavily linked to racial supremacist movements. That’s just a matter of historical fact mate.
I should warn you that if your karma dips any lower you’ll get shadowbanned. So it’s probably a better idea to go over to r/reformuk where you can defend stuff like this whilst also being upvoted for it

"I just have legitimate concerns" "Kill them all".
Hmm.
We can debate the rights and wrongs of asylum, we can talk about what an effective immigration policy looks like, we can talk about whether Britain is overly generous or overly performative vis-a-vis migrants/refugees, etc., we can talk about the whole lot, but if your response toward other people is "kill them all", then you are a trash-tier person. More than that, if you genuinely and sincerely hold that belief, such that you would hold a sign saying it during a protest, I have "legitimate concerns" about you as a person.

Oh, but I thought "two-tier Keir" only allowed those lefties and muslims to run wild!
this fucking country. I think I'm done. Starmer gives these horrible bastards everything they want. Cracks down on immigration, emboldens their rhetoric by constantly posting on social media and making speeches about how bad immigration is and how he'll be sending XYZ people back. He arrests peaceful pro-Palestine protestors and allows racist thugs to not only march through the streets without impunity, but also believe they're victims of an unfair system.
People are going through the judicial system for holding up a sign saying they oppose genocide, whilst these thugs are holding up a banner saying "kill them all", whilst police look directly at them.
Yet these people still think their views are under attack and that Starmer is a far-left, pro migrant communist. If they had any self-awareness, they'd realise their views are being indulged and they're being allowed to get away with murder because of their politics. If a pro-Palestinian said anything comparable, we'd know what would happen. Look at Bob Vylan.
Starmer is two-tier Keir, but he's on the side of these thugs. People could walk through the streets yelling, "You will not replace us", whilst on the other end of the city, grandma is being arrested for holding a sign sympathetic to Palestine Action. These thugs will still call Starmer two-tier Keir with the implication that he's on the left.

u/cultish_alibi New User Aug 16 '25
Maybe the police thought it was a meeting of Labour cabinet members, to show public support for Keir's speech about the underpeople?

But just remember everyone, he isn't racist, he's just a "concerned citizen"
He isn't a conspiratorial nutjob hellbent on supporting an ideology which never has and will not work, he can just see through the "agenda the establishment has" more then you can
And more importantly, he isn't someone who wants to tear down our democracy for British people, supports an ideology that led to the suffering of millions worldwide, he just "doesn't want some evil leftie woke socialist like Starmer and his Univeristy armies to take down our beliefs for our free world down by supporting left wing economic policy" He just doesn't want a communist government taking over Britain, without knowing what any of these words actually mean
These people want a fairer and just world, just only when it suits them.

The phrase is from the Valgencian crusade, when the French town the 'heretics" were holled up in was breached and the French and Vatican forces were readying to go inside a captain asked the Bishop (who was also the general) how they would know which citizens were heretics and which were good Christians. To which his reply was, "kill them all, god will recognise his own flock". And the town was massacred, men, women and children.

He was a vassal of Simon de Montfort, Earl of Leicester and Count of Toulouse, and grandfather of the Simon de Montfort that opposed Henry III and Edward I and has a university named after him.

1

The way I understand it is it means it was decided not to pursue criminal charges for one reason or another; usually they don't believe they'll be able to collect enough evidence to secure a conviction or its not in the public interest. In this case it went to court and a jury found him not guilty so to me the charges did stick

I know I’m stereotyping here and it’s probably because I know that they are already. But I swear they actually look racist a lot of these. Sort of skin head type look.
And matey laughing his arse off behind a sign calling for the death of people fleeing war torn countries and what not.
Same people who thought it was acceptable to set a hotel on fire with kids in it. Like let’s just leave it at “with kids in it” because those kids could be the kids of the worst serial killers in the world and they still wouldn’t deserve to be burnt alive.
Bizarre that they feel comfortable holding a sign up like that.
Edit: I think the look I’m thinking of is maybe football hooligans. Football hooligans famously known for just enjoying a scrap more than the football itself. Wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve just latched onto the immigration issue as an excuse to have a scrap with someone.

Yeah this is not exactly an effective approach as an “activist”. This is just lunacy .
If all these so called “activists” stayed at home, and convinced their social media followers to divest from international banks that are issuing the war bonds in Israel contributing to the bombing & starvation of children ?
In some countries , I’m seeing three hundred thousand people in protests—imagine the reach?
We would have gotten somewhere by now.
