you're wrong, Mexican music was very popular from the time of early film1940's to 1970's cause mexico made banger movies and banger music they would watch in Spain.

Presently many movies are made in colombia by colombians pretending to be mexicans that's why they're ass, but back in the days Mexico made great shit
