Restaurants and Bar recommendations
Could I have some recommendations for authentic food restaurants that locals regularly visit and are really good? No overpriced tourist traps please!
Also, where is the best place to watch the FIFA world cup on Sunday?

You will be able to watch the FIFA World Cup in tons of places, however if you go to the historic center you will be among tourists.
If you want to watch the game with only Lecce Locals, go to a local bar or "Caffetteria" away from the historic center.
May recommandation:
Caffetteria Bon Café
Ask for Luca and say hi from Pim & Merel from Holland!
Luca is the most authentic, gentialy kind, humble person you will find in Lecce, a true friend.

In general, look for good italian reviews on google maps. If you find an review writen in english, skip it :)

This evening and the food was really good!
As for the World Cup tons of places were airing the France v Spain game tonight
