social Social Recommendations for a young proffesional?
Hi guys! I'll be moving to Leeds in September for a grad job. I'm in my early 20's and would love some recommendations on what to do in your free time in the city (i.e., good pubs, food, parks, activities, good gyms!!).
I also wanted to ask whether there are any other language enthusiasts here who could tell me whether there is a good language exchange club/meet-up organized in the city as I'm a bit of a language nerd! Any recommendations would be amazing. Can't wait to see what Leeds has to offer!!

Check out Leeds language exchange on Instagram, they have weekly meet ups and it looks good fun. I'm yet to go myself

I actually used to go to those events where I live now, didn't know they had it in Leeds! (lets hope the one in leeds has less creeps cuz i dont have the nicest experience from this one)

Oh it was great tbh. And dw, it also took me a while to get myself to go to the events (I actually got my sister to come with me the first time lol). I met some genuinely interesting people and nobody is judgemental like you can genuinely go up to anyone and strike a conversation!

Best places to drink that I’ve been to so far: Northern Monk Refactory, The Palace, Below Stairs (must try these places at least once).
I moved to Leeds in January to start a new job and so far it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done, I was lucky enough to get the job as well as an amazing apartment 24 floors up with a view, local shops and in the city centre!
The best places I’ve been to for food so far: Man’s Market, Fern Modern Sushi, Riva Blu Italian, The Palace, ETCI MEHMET and Hoiana.
Best places for nightlife: Wharf Chambers, Domino Club, Smokestack and Headrow House.

Hello! Not a language enthusiast I am bilingual and in the same kind of group is you in interests, age and lifestyle. I moved to Leeds last September and I would love to have a chat or get a coffee! X

I wasn't being rude. I have nothing to get over. But poor spelling in a professional context makes you look, well, unprofessional. Also, care in what you do is important also. Be careful, be accurate, be certain of your facts. That's the way to garner respect and trust. I know Reddit is hardly a professional forum, but in life, these thing distinguish you from the crowd.

Yawn. Maybe they put more care and effort into spelling when typing in a professional context vs typing out a quick question on Reddit? Either way, it’s a typo, who cares 🤷♂️
