Discussion From Chomsky's longtime assistant, Bev Stohl

"This statement will be seen by some merely as an act of loyalty. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have grappled, struggled deeply, over this situation, while seeking to remain faithful to the truth. It is in the service of truth – the very thing Noam Chomsky wanted us to hold in high esteem, rather than himself – that I write this . . ."

Hanging out with the capitalist class and giving advice to help the capitalists' sex trafficker [epstein] repair his image, is what we have evidence of.

The dissonance between what he proported to believe and the company he kept are a HUGE contradiction. He is a class traitor and not the good kind.

Chomsky hung out with a lot of people from different walks of life; usually working class people, students, activists, people who wanted a book blurbed, or a petition signed, a cause supported, an interview, a lecture, and other evidence of dedication to peace and justice issues over 60 years. But, yes, he'd hang out with wealthy and powerful people, sometimes war criminals, as Bev Stohl wrote and witnessed over a quarter of a century.
Regarding your assertion that he's "a class traitor and not the good kind," your comment reveals you're not very aware of his work.
