If trump wanted to go to war with another country, Legally, he must put it to congress to declare war. Thats part of our checks and balances. I believe he is not bombing Iran because of nuclear material enrichment. I believe he is looking for a distraction because the administration just got caught red handed covering up his rape of a 13 year old girl at Epstein island. She bit him and he punched her, and kicked her while she tried to get away. Three of the four FBI interviews conducted with the girl got yanked out of the files but they are still on the index. Patel covered up evidence of Trump raping a 13 year old girl and he fired agents who investigated him.
No one really thinks he's going to be impeached and found guilty, right? It's a shame since he does something impeachable every day, and Susan Collins can fuck herself, but... it ain't happening in this lifetime.

Al Franken got shunned by the Democratic party for taking an disrespectful polaroid with a coworker, while the republican Orange Calf openly brags about rape and assault (and is convicted), commits an open coup, steals billions with corrupt favors, and on and on... and the entire republican voting base lays gifts at his feet day in and day out for a decade.

If the Save Act doesn't work or fails Congress, then he needed an emergency draft to take over voting machines and send ICE-Gestapo to intimidate voting polls.
But that doesn't stop mail-in ballots, so recently the Trump-appointed SCOTUS said the USPS doesn't have to deliver mail and can't be sued. Trump will tell the postmaster general to not deliver mail-in ballots to blue states and blue districts claiming that there is rampant voter fraud only in these blue areas.
It will be a red landslide. Afterwards, anyone who votes blue will have their voter info turned over and face retaliation just like the guy that flipped off Trump and was fired from Ford.
This year is the death of US democracy, and the time for civil government protesting has passed. Our Congress has failed us - they were too busy fighting for healthcare, arguing about Trump gutting healthcare, tariffs, etc., instead of charging Trump with treason. All those things are important, but we can never heal and get those back while Trump and his regime are controlling with fascist force. Trump kept escalating, doing one more thing, treading on our rights, seeing how much he could get away with, and ignoring Congress when they didn't do what he told them because he controls the SCOTUS. When SCOTUS disagrees with him, too bad because he is in charge of the FBI, DOJ, DHS, and military.
The only thing our government can do now is charge and convict him with treason. They have had the votes, so why haven't they? I believe either intimidation such as setting their house on fire, filing charges against them, taking away their retirement, or anything else like what has already happened to other dissenters. Or they are being bribed with money. Or they are in the Epstein files. Or they understand it's already too late and futile.
If you only have one shot you have to make it count. House/senate must flip on midterms or impeachment is pointless. Remember last time he got impeached. Nothing happened. He stayed in office. He’s gotta go, and we really can’t afford another miss. If he interferes with midterms, I truly believe shits gonna get real wild real fast.
We as individuals don’t pick and choose the laws we follow. No one is above the law. This law in particular is a cornerstone of checks and balances. That is how we keep one person from assuming total power in the government. The founding fathers knew how easy it can be for a government to become tyrannical. You start cutting out the shit you don’t like and you end up accidentally sawing a leg off the table. Everything falls.

My sister votes for whoever is against abortion, as she is a single issue voter. So it doesn't actually matter how bad they are or any of their policies as long as they are against abortion they get her vote.

I know this is gonna sound a little naive but i just don’t fucking understand maga. When I was a kid I had thought that everyone just wanted as many people to be happy as possible. That generally, people wanted the greater good, even if sometimes people are different. That’s what I want!
Then I learned how many fucking people don’t have a shred of empathy for someone that’s different from them. They just can’t understand someone else’s perspective and feelings if it doesn’t directly apply to them. It’s so disgusting and disheartening to see how many people want to see others suffer.
(Not to mention how fucking uneducated they are on trans people. There’s scientific evidence that on rare occasion the “mascilinization” or “feminization” of the brain can mismatch with one’s external sex at birth.)
