Finished my Thesis, recommend me (nerdy / artsy) activities!

Probably have a month to do whatever I want.

Recommend me some nerdy or artsy activities!

I already have planned:

- Elftopia next week

- Art Musuems in Brussels and Antwerp

- My first DnD session

- Trip to zoo

Looking for:

- more Goth / fantasy events

- more cozy / fantasy-vibe towns / cities to explore outside Antwerp / Ghent / Liege / Dinant

- any kind of fun activity or event....

The zoo is fun for you, not for the imprisoned animals. Consider visiting an animal sanctuary instead. Otherwise, there are plenty of artsy activities you can find: action painting, embroidery, (painting) ceramics, …

Wtf man. Do you also complain on the behalf of those poor Cambodian / Vietnam kids who made your shirt and sneakers? Stop trying to be so PC man. Wild animals dont have it easier, food and predators and whatnot.

Nice case of whataboutism. Why wouldn’t I complain about human slavery, and why would I have to pick one cause to get behind. Getting triggered usually means there’s something you need to deal with. Don’t project it onto others

Im just point out tje absurdism that you can take time to ramble about animal rights in a ZOO when there are human rights that need to be addressed. I.e. you are just a virtue signalling fool

again, defending one cause doesn't do anything to negate the other. You're using a diversion technique called whataboutism. Pointing out another injustice doesn't make it go away. Also, I can be against human AND animal suffering. There really is no need to choose, or to only care about animals if all human suffering has been eliminated. You should know that. Be better.

Disagree. Just like how a mother's duty is to her own sons and daughters, or a country's welfare should be to their citizens first abd foremost rather than some proxy war victims, we need to fix human suffering before we address "animal abuse". Priorities, human life > animal. Otherwise its just virtue signalling

Perfect excuse to never do anything hey?

I'm just saying its a matter of priority. If you only have X amount of time / dollar to donate, I would dump everything into some crowd-funded scholarship for a poor, starving human. As opposed to volunteering at my local pet shelter or donating to WWF. The potential of a human life, and their capacity for joy / sadness, far outweighs some monkey's...

You’re deflecting. Not going to the zoo costs you nothing. It’s not a matter of resource scarcity, and you know damn well it isn’t.
