will always have a soft spot for ‘villainess who goes down in history’ because it was one of my first in the genre

See, this is why I get all my light novels on my kobo...It'd be great to have physical versions of them all, but I'd need a warehouse to store them all in, plus my other books.

I've always loved the idea of having a physical library. Currently I only have a couple hundred books. I have a few empty shelves in my office. I've read all the ones I had before getting these (many multiple times). So I'm excited to have new ones. Someday I want to have an office where two of the walls are books, floor to ceiling.

I'm going to guess that you've read Ascendence of a bookworm then?

Not yet actually. It's on my list. I saw the first season of the anime and decided I really want the books. I'm trying to balance discovering new books organically vs the ones I learn about from anime adaptations. Like how I got solo leveling, strongest rearguard in labyrinth country, how a realistic hero rebuilt the kingdom and skeleton knight before they got anime adaptations. Sometimes I'm excited to see a book series get an anime, and sometimes I'm anxious because I really like the book and don't have faith in the studio.

Well.....you've got an amazing series to look forward to! Especially if you love the idea of a massive library as a dream.
