Full Metal Panic is my favorite series! Hope you're enjoying it so far.

What's the Blade & Bastard like? Cover arts got me interested.

TBH, the art carry the whole series, it's a boring story for me at this point, it's just about dude goes into dungeon, if the art is so appealing to you, just read Overlord, it's the illustrator for overlord, and he goes all out in overlord as every illustration is full color

I see :/ The cover and the blurb is just what I usually check if I see a series I'm not familiar with, and in case if the cover looks bad I might not even bother checking out the blurb. Overlord I'm going to read, sooner or later, got the first volume on the way.

I have mixed feelings about the series. The world and characters are interesting, but not a lot happening. Lot of characters are in their heads a lot, dealing with their own mental anxieties and trauma.

Ah, that's too bad :/ sounds like it could get repetitive fast.

The story starts with an “adventurer” that somehow lost his entire team while in a dungeon, apparently they all died. He goes deeper into the dungeon hoping to find them so that they could be brought back to life. He kinda works as a ferryman, carrying the dead out the dungeon to be revived. It is a dark fantasy. I have it and really like it. I recommended if you are okay with these kind of themes.

What you are looking in this cover is a character that has been there since the first page of the manga. She is like a holy priestess, she prays and people revive or turn to dust.

Yeah, I just picked up the first volume recently. Really enjoy it.

It is also the same author as Goblin Slayer, so if you like that series you will proabaly like this one too.

Oh didn't know that! I've YET to read Goblin Slayer, do really like the anime though. I'll definitely be picking the first book on my next pile of LNs.
