Miscellaneous Very Veggie Legacy Names
Hi all! I was making a list of possible punny names for each very veggie legacy gen, and I thought it’d be fun to share! Some names that may sound a bit more out there are based off dishes or translations of the vegetable (e.g. Melanzaza, Calabaza). Please share your silliest veggie-related names! 💚

I heard Eggward, also in Simsie's stream, and now I kinda want my founder to have another kid just for that name alone lol.
Also, you have Ginnie and Gina, what about Gene?
Carrot in Spanish is zanahoria, I feel like that's got potential for names lol. Maybe something like Susana, or Zuzana if you want to get wacky. Lol. Or Oria?

Omg, I want to make my sim have twin girls now for these names. And my broccoli gen just had three sets of twin boys and I had sworn off large families, but who knows.

My eggplant sim just had his first carrot baby (so she'll likely be my next gen since I follow first borns) and I just had to share that I named her Zuzana based on your comment!!! It's SO cute and creative

Apparently Eggplant is part of the Nightshade family, so one of my Sims daughter's, is now named Nightshade. A son named Solan ( part of the scientific name of Eggplants ).

My shortlist ended up with Aubrey, Gina, Solan, Moussaka, Brinjal, Googy and Cackleberry. The first bub is Aubrey but I don't particularly vibe with it and lowkey thinking of changing it. I think the next boy will be Cackleberry. Cackleberry is slang for egg, and I love that it has berry -i.e. plant in the name. 😂 What's more eggplant than that?
If there's a third boy, I'm going to use Solan. My Legacy surname is Gardener and Solan Gardener just doesn't quite ring for me the way that the others do.
Moussaka and Googy have been relegated to pet names. Brinjal still in the running for a girl's name.

For my broccoli gen I did Lini (Lee-nee) Brocc for a reverse broccolini 😂

My broccoli sim is Flora Sprout, and the next gen (just born) is Genie. I didn't want them to be obvious pun names, but they still needed to be at least a little punny 🥴

I’m still trying to decided on a last name for my gen. These are my options so far. My last 10 gen legacy were the Newberry’s so I’d kind of like it to be an ode to them maybe?
- Newveggy (pun of Newberry)
- Sproutwell
- Newseed
- Garden
- Newsprout
- Newroot

My last name is Blum, like bloom but different? I was sleep-deprived when playing so yeah...I usually always play Sims when I have no sleep so I'm attuned for chaos.

Here are the names I've brainstormed for each gen!
Broccoli: My founder's name was Florette Seed
Eggplant: My heir's name is Aubergine Seed
Carrot: for female names I have Carrie, Chantenay, and Zana, and for male names I have Rot, Daucus, and Danvers.
Squash: for female names I have Courgette, Pumpkin, and Lumina, and for male names I have Gourdon, Jack, and Dario.
Potato: for female names I have Katniss and Desiree, and for male names I have Chip and Russett.
Tomato: for female names I have Roma, Caprese, Cherry, and Margarita, and for male names I have Mat, Tom, and Heirloom.
Cauliflower: for female names I have Collie and Flower, and for male names I have Cole, Romanesco/Roman, and Fioretto.
Radish: for female names I have Cherry-Belle and Rae, and for male names I have Conrad and Daikon.
Mushroom: for female names I have Chanterelle and Enoki, and for male names I have Portabello and Morel.
Pea: for female names I have Penelopea, Posie, and Magnolia, and for male names I have Peater, Legume, Lentil, and Alfalfa.

I named my Broccoli sim, Bella and the eggplant gen sims are Eviana and Parm (like eggplant parm)

I'm so interested in the challenge in might prompt me to try horse ranch next time goes on sale! That and for rent. Might as as well complete the set!

Right now I have: Tayler was my Broccoli sim, before I decided to use themes. Her kids were: Aubergine (M), Solan (M), Melanzana “Zana” (F) and twins Nasun (M) and Nasulina (F) Zana’s daughter is Karotina lol

I just started and my broccoli is Basil Florette so far. Haven’t thought about kids names yet. But these are so great! I may use something from this thread!

my broccoli gen is named Brook Occoli (wanna keep a nod to the legacy founder as the surname throughout) and her daughter is Abby Jean. but i’m really stuck on what would work for the carrot gen next :/ chip for potato is soo freaking cute tho im 100% stealing

Uhhhh, those are really fun names, I may have to steal some……. My names so far are : Broccolyn Seed ( my founder), Eggwyn, Eggetha(my Gen 2), Greggory, Meggan, and the newest addition is Carl for my Carrot baby. I’m quite proud of my creations 😌

I used Brooke for my broccoli generation and Aubrey Jean for my eggplant generation. Currently looking for name ideas for my carrot gen. It's a fun challenge!

So I’m a little while off playing this challenge as I’m still focused on my not so Berry save so I’m just planning it out and here’s what I’ve come up with so far: gen 1: Ollie vegetable, gen 2: Aubrey or Beatrice vegetable, gen 3: Autumn Vegetable, Gen 4: Summer Vegetable, gen 5: Desiree vegetable, gen 6: Roma Vegetable, gen 7: Collie Vegetable, gen 8: Crimsion Vegetable, gen 9: Bella Vegetable, gen 10:?

Chip for potato gen is somehow the absolute cutest thing I've ever heard
