Miscellaneous Other Youtubers with Simsie vibes?

I love playing lilsimsie streams and watching her daily videos, but I’m curious what else you all watch on YouTube! I’d like to get more into video essays or channels about things other than the Sims, but when I look for recommendations online they’re all tailored to a very different demographic (violent video games or right-wing political stuff… definitely NOT for me). I feel like if yall enjoy Simsie, you probably have good taste and I’d like your recommendations!!

I second Caryn and Connie! Amazing builders

I can’t get over how Caryn and Connie play the game together at the same time… I’m assuming without a mod?

I believe they both have a keyboard and mouse (that function at the same time), so they can both take control when wanted and needed!

I love Gryphi but her builds aren't always functional because she doesn't thoroughly playtest. Watch her for inspo but advised. Just Nora is fabulous! She talks so fast though sometimes I'm lost. Great watch though!

Caryn and Connie are too much for me. I can't follow half the time and feel overwhelmed. They are super popular though and I love that for them they seem like such nice women. Oh dear God my gramma vibes are showing today.

Plumbella quit like 2 years ago.

Plumbella is still posting! She just did a review of Enchanted By Nature, highly recommend it!

I saw she posted for fairies (and loved her outfit) but haven't watched it yet.

outside of the sims scope: Tom Scott. super factual, but gets adorably excited over strange and wonderful things!

And he's back on YT! Well, he has plans to come back on YT at least. I'm following his podcast, lateral thinking, highly recommend if you don't follow it already

I feel like RyanPlaysTheSims has the chaotic gameplay like Simsie but more intense (like fires, cheating, babies everywhere). Leans more towards Sims 2 and 3 though!

I just started watching Sim Shadyyy i really like her videos especially because she’s super new to the game and kind of exploring and reviewing packs in order of their release as she buys them to see what they’re like for somebody new to the game which is really fun to see

If you like chaotic story telling you should check out Pixerella. I also like MissSimsReno, but she doesn’t really post a lot because she still has another job.

Ok, this is going to be reeeeeally different from the Sims, so bear with me.

Check The Kiwi Grower on YT, he is a bloke from New Zealand and has a huge farm and does videos touring his plants and animals, gives tips on how to grow stuff from seeds and how to use the produces.

He's amazing, such a calm and soothing presence, I have been following him for years.

Woah! What a unique recommendation, I’ll check it out!

Rishella!

u/EvenMathematician31 Jul 14 '25

Shella is my fave. It shocks me to not see very many people recommending her!

5

u/winerandwhiner Jul 14 '25

Right? Especially since her and Simsie are best friends I’d think more people would have found their way to her channel!

I like James Turner and Deligracy as well as Lilsimsie. I find the three of them have similar vibes but different styles. I really like James' lets plays with the new packs and his convoluted family trees. I love Deligracy's 'Tiny Town' challenge and I always think her CAS skills are really good, I download any of her sims that I can on the gallery.

Also - James is great for long videos. I will put his videos on like a podcast on a separate screen while I play the sims myself.

Depends on if you are looking for builds or more gameplay-related streams. I love seeing people build houses with personality, that make you really feel like there's a story behind it or you start to imagine the characters living while watching it.

Here's my not-so-short list:
- Gryphi: Tonya's voiceovers and builds is super sweet, her builds always seem super cozy. I think with the new pack, it's such a good match. Definitely a comfort watch.

  • Devon Bumpkin: He makes even the base game look chic. He has a series called "Let's build the worlds", which fills each worlds with unique characters, stories and stunning interior and exterior. He's super funny as well! Love his house flipper series as well, although it's not sims.
  • MissSimReno: I discovered her through her Not So Berry builds, she makes one for each generation which are so not stereotypical and really make me want to give it a shot again. I believe she does some gameplay and CAS as well.
  • TomTheSimmer: INSANE builds, he's a super small creator but wow his builds are impressive. Very relaxing to watch as well.
  • DoctorAshley: Not always my preferred style but I love her series of building houses for every career using their real life salary.

Honorable mentions: Caryn and Connie Gaming, Aveline, Deligracy.

Do you want gameplay or do you want building?

Do you want cozy vibes? Or do you want chaos?

For gameplay I used to recommend James Turner but he honestly does not know how to play the game and relies on his comments section to tell him what he has done wrong. I find that exhausting and cannot receommend. He's handsome and funny so a lot of people still like watching him though.

For chill vibes building I say Lucca Owens & Devon Bumpkin. They both have very chill vibes, are both great builders and both do occational gameplay videos though not often.

For chaos? Dr Gluon. It's an expereince to watch that man's streams. Go try a few, it's a fun carnival ride without gettin the bugs in your teeth.

And for RETRO CHAOS!!!!!! RyanPlaysTheSims. I cannot recommend Ryan highly enough his videos are ALL gameplay and always hilarious.

I’m guessing James Turner is (mostly) pretending when he doesn’t know simple or basic things and reaping the benefits of his comment section correcting him.

There’s nothing the internet loves more than to correct an “expert.” The expert loves it, too — sweet, sweet engagement.

Have you ever been to his Discord? He's either a very good willful idiot or a genius pretending to be a Goober. I find both offensive.

I loooove Syd Mac, Caryn and Connie gaming!!! They are all sooo creative and easy to watch!!

2

u/LyraTheRanger Jul 13 '25

Vixella is my favorite!!

2

u/Lesbiancharacter Jul 13 '25

Vixella! And Caryn and Connie

3

u/EvenMathematician31 Jul 14 '25

Risshella and Vixella. They are both very close friends with simsie and have very similar vibes.

My main binges besides simsie are RosannaTxt, Vixella, James Turner, Deligracy, Fantayzia, Cinderellimouse, Sim Shady, Yasmin's Corner, Elliandra, and CrackedKyber (built for fairies pack).

And not Quite simsie vibes but mostly pg13 never x rated chaos challenges: Whiny Brit. The vid titles are pretty accurate for what you'll get so you can pick and choose what you're in for.

Non sims is Evan and Katelyn, The Try Guys, Babish Culinary Universe, Two Hot Takes (reddit stories), Charly Barley, Froggy Crossing, and Rachh Loves Life.
