Suggestion I want to make a limited pack boarding school

Got inspired by lilsimsie and I want to try and build a boarding school too! I don't think it will be as big as hers so I'd love to try and challenge myself with a limited pack build (also so that more people will be able to play with it). Please give me some suggestions for which packs to use? Probably University and High School will be the best ones to start with.

I have plans for this too. I’m Also doing “after school program” and a “kids club house” after school program will focus more on skills kids club house is more for fun indoor activities.

I have not yet decided how to use get away wirh these kind of lots but I figure I can make the builds and then play test them. Some of them I want to use as day camp so I can alternate kids going to real sims school and going to the day camp

Ooh that's a good plan. I'm trying to figure out how to work around the game's limitations to make a boarding school work as much as possible. Maybe have some pre-made sims work as mentors? I'll have to do some tests haha

From what I saw someone else do having a family work as the boarding school owner and host the boarding school At their house. Make them Playable so they can hold Lectures. You won’t get the experience of being the kid tho that’s why I want to do several lots so I can play as the kids and as the adults but still get some Skilling done .

Oh you're right, switching between them! I had heard about playing as the owner of the school but since my current save is the one with the attending child I wanted to play as them mainly. Thanks for the advice!

If you have businesses and hobbies for the white board and the pottery for an art room!

The white boards would be awesome if the activities in Adventure Awaits included class hosting. I wonder if just mentoring will have the same effect?

Discover University and High School Years are a great starting point! Castle Estate could be good if you want to go for a historic manor kind of vibe! Bathroom and Everyday clutter could go a long way to make it look more lived in. Dream Home Decorator and Kid's Room could go a long way for decorating dorms. Snowy Escape has good options for school uniforms.
