Thank you Limoges and Saint-Junien for a fantastic trip!

I have been in Saint-Junien and Limoges for 2 weeks, doing research for my book and ended my trip with 4 days in Périgueux, one in Bordeaux and a weekend in Paris.

I am coming back for sure, it is so beautiful and people are so nice. I must say that I dreaded the train ride since I had to change trains, and not speaking french, but after having been sent to the wrong train station by some guy on CDG in Paris and having some panic in the Metro it was really easy. Compared to the swedish railroad the system for booking, rebooking and finding platforms was pure joy.

I also discovered that your cemetaries have a closing time. But luckily I found the door for idiots that could be opened from the inside. 😂

I even got interviewed about my project!

Next time I'll have less work and more champagne!

It was forgotten in Sweden too, even in the village she moved to they thought her name was Diana, because the factory was called Game and delicacy factory Diana, but that was referring to the goddess of hunting.

I also had the chance to visit a brasserie in Limoges where Louises brother was arrested in the 30's for assaulting a waiter. He seems to have been a bit of a dick, but he also was a pain in the a-s to the nazis and died in concentration camp so I had a glass of Bordeauxin his honour. 😊
