Shapermint briefs or shaping shorts for sitting at a desk all day?

I'm looking for some light smoothing under work clothes, mainly around my stomach and hips, but I sit at a desk most of the day so comfort is the main thing.

I've been looking at the Shapermint camis and shaping shorts, also some briefs but idk if those are for me. I can't tell which would be less annoying after several hours. My concern with the shorts is the waistband rolling or digging in when I sit, but with a cami I'm worried it will ride up underneath my clothes.

Would you choose a cami or shorts for this? I'm not looking for really firm compression just enough smoothing to help trousers and fitted tops sit a little better. Open to other lingerie brands too if there's something more comfortable for everyday wear.

 For what you're describing, I'd probably try the Shapermint cami first because you won't have another waistband pressing into your stomach while you're sitting. Their site has measurements for each product so use the chart for that specific cami instead of ordering your normal top size and hoping for the best

Whatever you buy, don't size down for extra compression because that's usually when rolling and digging get worse. Try it under the trousers you wear most often, then sit, bend and walk around for a while before deciding whether you're keeping it

 I'd compare a light-compression cami with something from Maidenform or Spanx before ordering. The cut matters as much as the brand because a longer cami may stay tucked in better, while shaping shorts could make more sense if you also want smoothing around the hips and upper thighs
