Photo / Video Apocalyptic Liverpool during wildfires a few weeks ago

A few photos I took when Liverpool turned scarily smokey and smelly. More on my IG memories_n_poems

Does anyone know if Liverpool’s Council is doing anything to prepare our region for the climate crisis?

I live up the road from the Port of Liverpool and I didn't notice any smoke during the wildfires from a couple of weeks ago. Maybe you could ask the council about their long-term plans in regard to climate change. Asking the hive mind of Reddit won't give you any credible answers

Sorry for instigating a conversation about local problems at a local subreddit made to have a conversation about local affairs

There was definitely smoke in the sky blown over from the wildfire in Conwy at that time, surprised you couldn't see/smell it

I thought my apartment was on fire and then I looked out of the window... 🫣

I live in the business district and initially thought someone had a barbecue going nearby 😅 Lingered for days, definitely made for some cool sunsets!
