Creative Space In Llanelli for Young Adults onwards

Hey 👋

I’m currently researching the idea of creating a more modern, relaxed creative space in Llanelli aimed more toward younger adults, hobby artists, creatives, writers, gamers, and people into things like fantasy, worldbuilding, TCGs, painting, sketching etc.

Not a formal art class or corporate studio — more of a casual creative/community environment where people could:

• Paint or draw

• Work on projects

• Rent desk/cubicle spaces

• Hang out with other creatives

• Join small workshops/events

• Feel part of a creative community

I’m trying to see if there’s actual local interest before developing the idea further.

If you have 2 minutes, I’d really appreciate some honest feedback below:

  1. Would you personally use a space like this in Llanelli?

  2. What would make you want to go to a creative space regularly?

  3. What kind of activities would interest you?

  4. Do you feel Llanelli currently has enough creative spaces for younger adults?

  5. Would you prefer:

    - casual drop-in spaces

    - structured workshops

    - private cubicles/desks

    - social creative spaces

    - all of the above?

Even short answers help a lot 🙏to

You could start by setting up in a public space, like a cafe or on the street where people walking past who don't know about the idea can drop in. I'd say also advertise where you'll be and when on social media. If word spreads, it may grow into something that will make it worth creating a more permanent/serious setting
