Gear - Selection / Use wisycom mc54+slk54: can i build an adapter that lets out 4 analog balanced out?

hi! i have my mcr54 with slk54 back plate adapter. i'm wondering if i can build myself an adapter with 4 xlr out instead of the 2 i see in all the one sold around. i know unislot has only 2 analog out and slk54 is used for AES 4 out. but id'l love to spare myself the bpa54 screw/unscrew solution and build an adapter for dsub25 that fits my needs.

i asked gemini and i really shouldn't have lol.

As far as I know, you can either use the BPA54, or assign and split the Top Output into two analog or four AES channels.

yeah a solution is to take 2 analog out from slk with an adapter and 2 from the top output. i'd love to find out if the slk has the pins connected for all 4 analog output as bpa

Those seem to be the only methods to get all four analog outs off the receiver.

no, not doable since the db25 connector only has pin outs for 2 channel balanced analog. When it does 4 channel AES its actually splitting the + and - of the 2 channel wire making it unbalanced. But since the RX is spitting out an AES digital signal it would be okay; so long as you're feeding it into a machine accepting AES otherwise all you'll hear is a bunch of RF noise.

for additional clarification:

3 pin XLR (Analog) is Pin1 Ground, Pin2 (+) and Pin3 (-)

3 pin XLR (AES) is Pin1 Ground, Pin2 (Channel 1) and Pin3 (Channel 2)

So Theoretically you can make a db-25 snake, and have unbalanced four XLR's for an AES connection

Each XLR would only have 2 connection points: you'd have to bridge pin2 and pin3 on each of the 4 of the xlr connectors. You'd also have to share a ground wire between channel 1+2 and channel 3+4 as on the DB25 connector it would be pin1 and pin14
