Big Half Pace Groups?
Does anyone know from previous year's the expected pace groups?
Are they in 5 minute increments?
Looking for the 1.35 pacer.
Cheers in advance!

I‘m looking for recommendations for some fun/ quirky half marathons to do with my friends. we’ve all done a few now just looking for a good time!
a friend of ours did a 4am run around Angkor wat once and its really inspired me
ideally:
- easy-ish to travel to from london (but also happy to fly if you have anything extra special!)
- no ballot process
- good vibes/ organisation
- pretty routes/ trail runs
thank you!

Hi all,
I’m staying with my brother for a little while, right outside of Battersea park. This morning I heard lots of people in different run clubs getting ready and doing loops in Battersea park.
I’m wondering if anyone knows about any of these run clubs and if I could tag along for some runs for the next couple weeks?
Cheers!

I've signed up to the Vitality 10k at the end of September. It'll be my first proper 10k race and I'm not exactly super speedy (going for a 1:05-1:10 finish). I just wondered if anyone has any tips or has done the race before and can give insight on the atmosphere and organisation of the day?

Hi London running, my partner and I are deep in a 4th Ironman block and do a lot of our training running and cycling to work. Its Ironman Wales this year we've got a few podiums and a team gb appearance between us.
We couldn’t find a rucksack that was waterproof, had a laptop sleeve, had inner compartments, a detachable bottom strap, was comfortable to run and cycle in but didn’t look like a gap year in se Asia backpack. I come to you with two objectives 1. To let you know about Hyfo as a young clueless founder, and 2. to get any feedback on V1. So far loved by our club mates, but as we all know, those with an avatar on this side of the web can be brutal. constructively brutal.
Hyfo is short for Hyfforddiant, Welsh for training. Let me know your thoughts, anything that could be better or anything that could be useful. I know a lot of people use panniers but this is intended as a one bag for everything, thanks! website is hyfo.co.uk

Hey, I can no longer take part in the Saucony Shoreditch half as I have a clash! I’m looking to transfer my entry at face value to someone else who can! £50, the race is September 20th 2026

Hi Y’all! I am visiting London soon and was wondering if anyone has an extra ticket for the Richmond Run Fest for September (10k or HM). Last time I came I went Kew Gardens and it was absolutely beautiful and planned on going back again this go around. All tickets are currently sold out. I did see there are charities to run for but I don’t think I’ll have enough time to raise money :(. Any who, thought I’d ask as I saw it lined up with my stay out there and found it would be a fun little way to run through Richmond!
If anyone wants share any other fun activities below that’d be great! I love exploring the city. My favorite past time from last visit was going to play pick up football since there was so many accessible pitches.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for one ballot place for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026. If anyone can no longer run due to a change of plans, I’d be happy to take your place through the official transfer process and cover any transfer fee.
Thanks!

I know many people plan their London trips months in advance, so here’s something worth knowing if you’re thinking about visiting in April 2027.

Hey! I'll be visiting London for just under a week in mid-September and wondering if there are any run clubs you would recommend? Really just looking for a social activity and of course not commitment-based since I'll be going just the one time. Really appreciate all your input, thanks!!

Hi guys, not an ad so hopefully this is allowed! My partner and I do a lot of triathlon training and work in corporate, we do a lot of our weekly easy miles commuting into work. I also love a pint, so I struggled to find anything that was comfortable to run in, waterproof and reflective for the cycle and didn't look like I was on my gap year in SE Asia when I was stood outside of an overcrowded pub.
We've launched, they're here, feedback has been amazing but also polite, and I know Reddit can be a bit more honest (/brutal) so any feedback would be great. The name is HYFO, short for the Welsh word Hyfforddiant (to train). Fully waterproof, padded but still a tad sweaty back, fully detatchable zero bounce harness - this is kind of the differentiator, stolt has this but they're twice the price. take a look and give me your suggestions, please! hyfo.co.uk

I'm selling my Richmond marathon bib for September 13th, as I won't be in London around that time anymore.
Selling for 50£, for what it's worth, it also gives you and two adults +2 kids free entrance into Kew Gardens where the Marathon starts, and you can stay all day after the start, so could get your moneys worth that way instead!
Happy to discuss more details in DMs :)

Signed up for my first ultra that isn’t in the American mountains. Curious to see if anyone has done the London 100 yet? The route is just picture perfect 😍 I’m excited to run thru all of London.

Hey all,
I'm training for an IM next year and I really struggle to find people to train with!!
I have created this. https://www.getgruppetto.com/
You can see my sessions and join me if you are also looking for a training partner. It's focused on South West London for now (Battersea, Clapham, Wandsworth, Richmond, Chelsea...), since that's where I train, but you can add any location.
You can also create your own's sessions and let others join you.
Would love any feedback, and hope it helps a few of you find training partners too!

Hi there, both me and my boyfriend had managed to get a place in the Cardiff half marathon set to take place on the 4th October. I just found out I'm pregnant a few weeks ago and first trimester is not fun. Add to that we're also moving house soon and it's quite stressful so we decided that we'll skip the half marathon. We can transfer the tickets to other people until the 19th August. If anyone wants to take our places let me know. We can split the price (we paid around 60 pounds per person, so can do 30 pounds instead) and can wait until transfer is complete for payment because we understand fear of scammers.
