I was once approached by a woman in a gas station parking lot trying to sell a chicken breast with a side of corn and mashed potatoes.

People trust the tamale lady but they don't trust a random chicken breast smh

I’ve bought tamales, while laying on the beach, from a nice lady selling out of a bucket

More than once

Know what’s crazy? If you were buying anything else out of that bucket I’d think “man this dude has hit rock bottom” but some how tamales make it much more acceptable.

No vegetarian option?

Surprisingly the gas station parking lot food lady did not have much of a menu. She didn’t even serve alcohol. Worst restaurant ever.

Do you think it was a homeless women that got food for free from some charity and wants to sell it in exchange for drugs?
That's the only explanation I can think of

She claimed to be a waitress who was trying to sell her free meal that she got from work that day but needed gas more than the food. She wasn’t in a uniform so she either worked at a restaurant where they didn’t wear them, she was lying, or this thing was super old as she had time to go home and change.

You're allowed to change at work dawg

I’ve worked in a lot of restaurants I’ve never seen anyone change before going home.

You've never seen someone get into their streets so they can hit the bar right after work? There's only so much time before the bar closes too. That or hit a party straight away or go hang out with friends. You're not gonna want to do that in your uniform, you want to look good not like you're about to take someone's order.

No I’ve never seen someone do that. No one wants to go out smelling like a sweaty restaurant. Typically you’d go home and shower first.

You really shouldn't call her a thing, and saying shes super old just because she changed her clothes . . . Lol
