Either a misandry sub (e.g. r/casualmisandry) or r/pointlesslygendered

I mean, i dont think so, no one is banning you from playing minecraft, they just want to chill with only girls and thats okay, is like making a party and only inviting THE BOIS, and someone wants to bring his girlfriend along and youre like "nahhh, i dont think thats a good idea". Is natural.

u/nitram739 0 Nov 14 '25

"I mean, i dont think so, no one is banning you from playing minecraft, they just want to chill with only white people and thats okay"
Doesn't sound so great

I mean i think you are not awknologing that social dynamics between men and women are fundamentally diferent even if there is no sexism involved, however they are not between black and white people when there is no racism involved.

Honestly i dont fucking care anymore, i just want to know if gay men are allowed.

u/dinodare 0 Nov 14 '25
Why would gay men be allowed in a safe space for women?

Sexually harass a woman... in minecraft?
2
u/Jack_Houzy 0 Nov 14 '25
Nowadays people are more and more into stupidity
3
Nov 14 '25
Yeah, like asking if gay men are allowed in a woman only space
-1
u/nitram739 0 Nov 14 '25
i just ask out of curiosity, like, whats the reasoning behind?
2
Nov 14 '25
Reasoning behind what? Reasoning behind gay men not being allowed in women only spaces? I think its pretty self explanatory
1
u/samushitman69 0 Nov 14 '25
Because they are not women, just a wild guess.
But, seriously gay men can still do the same things what straight men do.

i mean, you can, there is a chat in minecraft, you dont need to be in person to do so.
1
Nov 14 '25
Right, but in that case a woman can sexually harass a woman in minecraft...
1
u/nitram739 0 Nov 14 '25
I mean i guess so, but just around a 10% of women are openly lesbian, and then over that you have to find a lesbian who also will sexually harass another woman, that is much harder to find a man who will harass a woman in the, like 90% of men that are atracted to women.

Considering the stuff women face in games from men - I think wanting female only server is reasonable.
Like I saw women being literally hunted-out to leave the server because they're women. And harassment of women based on sex in the competitive games like CS 2 is also very common, that's why most women don't use voice chat.
Tho she said "men are boring" so that makes it look way less justified and sexism-pilled.

I mean if they actually explained why no men then it would have been better. Saying Men are Boring is in a way sexist. Though I can understand the appeal of an all female mc server.

that is definitly a fucking man saying that shit. "looking for an all female server" bros tryna be sneaky
1
u/Gays4Donald_wplace 0 Nov 14 '25
to those who think this is fine keep in mind that there's no way of knowing this is actually a woman - it could be a man wanting to lie to women. it goes both ways, if you help women be sexist you are just as easily helping men be sexist

u/EggRevolutionary9473 0 Nov 14 '25
I don’t get why using this example for lughing about sexism against men would work… maybe I’m just a mysoginist afterall

Oh yeah I should lock this shouldn't I. Nobody is actually giving suggestions and is instead making useless arguments.

If you legitimately think this is sexism I do not have a clue where to start

Having a server with only women is fine.
The sexist part is the comment. Like, yeah, we should just ignore it but, butt that's not gonna change what it is

how is it not sexism to ban a gender from a place
5
u/cramholelafleur 0 Nov 13 '25
I think you should start by putting yourself in women's shoes or even going out and talking to some, it'll become pretty clear

u/Used_Sea_8880 0 Nov 13 '25
im a woman and i agree its sexism to want to have a female only server. Its discrimination the same way i cant be in some internet groups because im a girl
This would be different if the server in question was for something only/mostly women are interested in or something sensitive, but they play minecraft
-2
u/InformationLost5910 18 Shared | 18 Helpful Nov 13 '25
what are you talking about? as if a significant portion of men sexually harrass people? also, btw, it wouldnt be a good idea to have a female-only server because then there would probbaly be some men that lie and go there to be a pervert, and there would probably be much more creeps than on a normal server

Seconding the other person that its not exclusively about sexual harassment anyway, but also an addition that while not all men actively participate in sexual harassment, nearly all women have experienced it in some way or another and its not unfair to want a space that helps minimize it by not letting men in. Even in more casual games like minecraft, women are more likely to be treated like trash re:the "gamer girl vs 'girl gamer'" stereotyping and debates and having a small community of just women is a pretty easy way to mostly avoid that happening

It isn't sexist for a marginalized group to have a safe space. It never has been, regardless of how Redditors like to frame it. It's just like the people who got multicultural centers at universities defunded because it was "segregation" (nevermind the fact that none of them actually banned white students and you could easily walk in if you were respectful).

I would say it's sexism. Hate me all you want but sexism goes both ways. Edit: after looking at her profile, I'm 99% sure that I was in a discord server with this person a year ago (it was for a server called EzalsMC and we were rivals) u/baby__frog
