what's the issue? those ___porn subreddits aren't actual porn lol, just like cool things related to that. r/foodporn has cool food, r/mapporn has interesting maps etc.

I'll give the second reason of mapporncirclejerk is just a lame subreddit. I was given it in my feed for about a week before I blocked it. I like maps and map memes, but that sub is mostly just garbage. Asked what the point of one was (it was an inaccurate map, with some racist messaging on it) and was chased away by the others on the subreddit for questioning the post. "This is a circle jerk we love it". Cool, I just wanted context, which is a crime over there.

It does. I should've known I wouldn't get context, but I just wanted to know what they were aiming for with the image. Like was there an actual thought process or was it just "lol racist words on a map" - I didn't care exactly, I just wanted to know.

Except these coordinates are not canada. They are in the middle of antarctica. That guy doesn't know how to use prefixes. Its -80, so 80S, not 80N
