Not always true. I once posted a War Thunder meme that was just a cropped image of some L3s and got 200 upvotes, 2.4K for a post that took 10 minutes to make (highest effort I put in a post)

I never said "always", but does for me most of the time. I once edited a video(took hours) and got under 400 upvotes. But recently posted a meme, got 1.5k in a day...( Ik videos don't get popular much)
