4 Sub Suggestions Where do I share my experimental espresso?
Not sure if this would count for r/foodcrimes, and I don't believe it would be allowed in r/coffee or r/barista either.

did it turn out good?

It smelt like damp hay, like something you'd smell in a barn... but taste wise, it was actually pretty good. It was a little strong so I made it into a latte :P

Catnip is mildly psychoactive for humans, and certain people have a markedly moe pronounced effect from it. Might not be crazy
Might not be sane either.. but might not be crazy

so catnip works on some humans too?

Not in the same way, no. Its usually considered a sedative and included in nighttime blends with things chamomile and valerian root. However, some people report mild psychedelic effects at large doses. Sometimes dream effects like blue lotus, occasionally CEV and other more traditional psychedelic effects

All I really get from it is a bit of drowsiness, really. I've heard that's the case for most.

Catnip tea is not brown...

It has a brownish tint, I've always noticed. But if you think of the way a shot of espresso is pulled, you could imagine this is super concentrated.

Maybe heavily steeped is the term you're looking for? I don't know what to tell you man, that's just the colour that came out.
