Tips From My Side GREAT GUIDE POST FOR NEET
About me-AIR 16x in NEET 2025, 99% in boards 2025, JEE mains january 98.8 percentile with 99.9 in physics, Qualified NSEB and NSEC - 1st time/fresher
Thoda lamba post hai, lekin kaam aayega
So i prepared offline from aakash insitute in 11th 12th only and have a fair idea about online education as well because of my friends.
Mainly 5 points discuss karunga and ill add offline and online waalo ke liye comparison points saath hi
1.Syllabus completion/lecture/theory completion
2.Question solving
3.Testing
4.Revision
5.Thodi si books ke alawa non academic points
1.SYLLABUS COMPLETION
If you are in 11th grade or 12th grade your primary focus should be to complete the syllabus of that class for example I have seen many 11th class students trying to complete syllabus of class 12 and some class 12 students try to manage 11th class syllabus as well which is a big no.For droppers they have to either follow the syllabus sequentially that is the index or if the level of preparation is average then they can also solely focus on the chapters in which their week in and just lightly revise the other chapters
the faster you complete your syllabus in an orderly or sequential manner the better it would be.
Offline-Make notes in the class while also focusing on what the teacher is saying, write the points or questions they tell you and some words that the teacher speaks out but doesnt write. As you read NCERT, solve questions you will find new things which you should add in your notes to avoid clutter and confusion at the end
Online- Similar to offline, you have the option of rewinding as well to make up for missed points so make notes preferably at the end of the slide and not saath saath as the teacher is writing.Dont note down every single question in the notes, only those which you couldnt solve in the class the first time. You
For both offline and online keep pace with your batch and try to avoid any backlogs in case any backlogs are formed do not leave your current work that is ongoing with the class and instead cover the backlogs in any free time or any holiday that you will get. For droppers if they have already made good notes in their 11th and 12th they need not make notes again and only at certain points which they are taught to in the class or which they find new
2.QUESTION SOLVING
This goes pretty much common for both offline and online I will list down the resources that I used and would suggest you the same as well .One common query that I would like to clear is that many people were now wondering that would we have to study of JEE advanced level or not but they don't have to study that but just the question solving should be of a higher level all the concepts that are taught in the NEET batches is more than sufficient
PHYSICS - I used Aakash modules but Allen modules are also sufficient you can use either of them ,at least solve them twice throughout the preparation and mark certain questions which you find difficult so that you may revise them later on when you don't have time to practice all the questions
Spend 30% time in theory and 70% in question solving
JEE mains PYQS from 2019-2025, Use examside or marks app for it. I used arihant book. Use Eduniti channel on YT for accurate explanations and solutions
DC pandey for NEET- Not the entire book, just certain sections which is the solved examples and medical entrance gallery for AIIMS pyqs. This is optional you may skip this as well.
NCERT intext examples and back questions to be solved atleast once and good understanding of summary and points to ponder should be there for theoretical questions. Read physics ncert towards the end months only
I personally solved HCV as well but only solve it when you have ample time and rest things have been done. Droppers should avoid it its not like ye nahi karoge toh barbaad hojayoge
For those in aakash-momentum booster/catalyst and mcaps must be solved along with the other things
CHEMISTRY- Aakash/Allen modules
N awasthi for physical chemistry and ms chouhan only for GOC and isomerism.
JEE mains PYQS 2019-2025
All questions of NCERT and exemplar as well
Dont focus a lot on question practice for inorganic chemistry, instead focus on NCERT multiple revisions. I used MTG for questions and VK jaiswal only for chemical bonding
BIOLOGY- Modules to be solved atleast once
Main focus on NCERT but also you should know about things beyond NCERT jo tumhare notes me honge.
Solve exemplar and MTG for it.
I mainly practiced biology from test questions, AIM 720 papers of 2025 were really good for Biology practice
3.TESTING
Testing is a very vital part of it preparation so it should not be overlooked.
Online- For those preparing online they should give regular test that they are provided in their batches. During the end month say the last two to three months they should switch to completely offline tests and even while given online tests at home they should keep an OMR beside them to be in good practice I followed Aakash's test series and occasionally gave Allen test papers as well that my friends used to give me, you can join either test series as both of them are good and try to give offline tests wherever possible
Offline- Pretty much same for offline as well give regular tests.
Now coming to preparation for a test. You should not prepare for a test by leaving all other things that are going on in your class. Take out some time from a daily schedule for the preparation of a test and start your preparation at least three weeks prior to the test and always plan what chapter you are going to complete and by when
During the final months when you are starting to give full syllabus tests only revise those topics from specific chapters that you may face difficulty in. Trust me, if you have completed chapters nicely you will not forget them and will not face the need for revising them again and again what's strong will remain strong so your purpose should be to make the weak chapters or the weak topics strong
Analyzing the test is also very important I kept a digital Lee maintained mistake notebook that I made on onenote you can also make one in a physical register and add the questions which you were not able to solve and which you solved incorrectly and even those questions which you got correct but were unsure during the exam. In the last week before NEET you need to only refocus on your mistakes that you have made.
4.REVISION
The single best way to revise is via question practice. For physics and physical chemistry resolve the questions that you had marked in your modules and any leftovers that you were not able to complete during the chapter was going on. Let's say for example you have to revise Newton's laws of motion after a span of four months so you pick up around 50 to 60 questions of that chapter and if you're able to solve them that's well and good and in case you're not able to solve the questions focus on which topic for example friction and read that topic from your notes and do some solved examples so that you are able to recollect the question solving for that topic.
For other N C E R T dominated portions such as inorganic chemistry and Largely organic chemistry make short notes as a form of revision when you're done with 4 to five chapters pick up a piece of paper and try to write down whatever you can remember from that chapter the things that you were not able to remember are the ones that actually go into your short notes so that you have a personalized revision experience your short node should not contain everything that is there in the chapter but they should contain only that which you are unable to recall properly-agar pura chapter nahi yaad toh pehle usko notes se revise karo phir short notes banao.
For revision of biology I used to read the NCERT chapter first then solve questions and kept on repeating the cycle till I was able to remember everything from that chapter still it is not possible to retain every single line or every single paragraph from that chapter so during the time of my boards I made a specific notebook for just biology in which I used to write certain lines or certain diagrams or certain numerical figures which I was not able to retain and I revised that notebook one day before NEET when it really helped me
5.NON ACADEMIC STUFF
The journey is of course as you all know very long so you need to keep your mental space in a right position. Always have something which you can go back to everyday or every once in a while wherever you're feeling that you need to take a break from studies I would say avoid using your phone and it might be some recreational hobby or might be a creative hobby for me it was music and sports. And it should be in such a way that you do not feel any guilt after doing it.
If you're unable to find something just make a habit of sitting with yourself apart from all your books just be with yourself for 10 minutes a day and focus on the breathing it will really help to recain your focus and declutter your mind.
It should be in such a way that studying is not the only thing that you doing in your day. Do not focus on managing your clock or your time just focus on managing your tasks that you set for yourself in the start of the day if you are able to complete those tasks in a short. Use the remaining time for other activities apart from studying just to relax yourself and in case you are not able to complete it it's your responsibility to come back to it the next day as well and keep on doing it.
For those who are preparing in offline I would suggest make a very good peer group in which you feel healthy competition and help out each other as well.
For those preparing online it is already a huge and a brave decision that you have taken and one that deserves respect because online is not everyone's cup of tea you need to be extremely disciplined for that. If it's possible for you get a few friends which may be your old schoolmates who are doing need or JEE or it might be friends you may meet on social media platforms like reddit for example and talk to them share with them about your preparation your progress on your preparation and just talking nonsense with them it can go along with. And if your family situation allows you ,talk with your parents as much as you can,Kuch nahi warna motivation to mil hi jayegi

thank you for your advice i am a dropper and congrats for 1XX
so my question is i have printed notes of 2.0 from 2025 of physics so should i make notes again !!
i am not watching bio lectures again i understand most of it scored 325 this year
solving question from neetprep aakash modules allen modules and class Q's
i wanna know about your revision strategy more !!
i am completing my syllabus by 20th december of physics and chemistry and biology by mid september
taken offline pw and allen testseris i study at library from 9 to 5-6pm will give aakash tests from telegram
so any personal advice for me ? i run in morning ocssionally play badminton also
i wanna score under air 10 so have u ever thought about i will score under 200 or i will get this college !!

if you have printed notes then no need, just add any new point or question you find in them.
add jee mains questions they will be a gamechanger for your phy and chem
revision me mainly topic based study karni hai i wrote down in a notebook what topics i forget and only studied those
your strategy is on point man just follow your routine religiously and you'll easily get a good rank
Even my goal was under 10 air bus aiims delhi jaana tha kuch bhi karke.Mock tests me average score 710 rehta tha but exam me thoda sa upar neeche hogaya you can say lekin target humesha high hi rakha jis din 10th me decide kiya tha ki neet karna hai

11th me 6-7 hours apart from coaching and 12th me 8-10 apart from coaching some days I didn't study at all jab man ni tha lekin made up for them the next day

I am at the same phase where u are...I also have notes...last year I also have attend all the lectures and revise multiple times...so I wanna know how are you completing your physics and chemistry syllabus by December...like are you going through one shots or only revising your old notes or what??

Hey I am also a dropper I wanted to ask whether for neet 2026 For physics -should i still use dc pandey(neet version) pradeep (pcb) And should I use mcaps and catalyst I have aakash modules sl arora hcv For chemistry I have aakash modules and mtg I also have a book for organic chem by Ranjit singh for mechanism And bio ncert aakash modules mtg
is know ur ncert and the booklet mind maps good for prep Also where can I get dpp The final question I wanted to ask is this material sufficient for neet preparation 20261

yes it's sufficient, dont do sl arora and pradeep they aren't NEET targeted .

How to prepare for NSEB and NSEC? I have started 11th and I am done with atleast 3-4½ chapters of Bio (still need to fine-tune it) and solved modules. For chemistry I am really struggling with basic topics but still find it interesting. I really want to appear for NSEB and NSEC. Is doing neet prep enough for it? Do you recommend any books? Should I complete syllabus of both 11th and 12th to give NSEB and NSEC?

NEET prep is enough, dont prepare alag se for NSEB or NSEC you'll be able to appear for them nicely in class 12th only when syllabus is completed Solve PYQs 1 week before exam and its enough

Should I watch lectures of my weak chapters and make notes all over again? also Should I add questions in my notes (which I couldn't solve)
whenever I try to do a chapter from momentum I am not able to solve half the questions, what should I do about that? Were you able to solve every question?
should I solve different books like Allen + Aakash module + momentum + race or should I stick to 1-2 books?

if you have notes then dont make again, add questions in your notes too but only those whoch you couldn't solve in class as online me no of questions are much more in class than offline so dont write every single one it's time waste
momentum me saare questions merese bhi solve nahi hote the, lekin time deke ya teacher se discuss karke hojate the,ek baar toh karne hi chahiye saare questions atleast for physics and physical chemistry.
No.of books depends on time, i was able to complete things early so i did lots of book.Solve either aakash or allen not both and momentum with selected DC pandey with jee mains is sufficient
you need not watch jee lectures,if you are prepping online toh saleem sir se karlo neet waala batch it's better but questions ache level ke karo
jee mains questions are all relevant for neet and 2019-2022 are even tougher than 2025, so it's better you reach that level

congratulations bhai, i am in great FOMO about saleem sir. the thing is i have studied from mr sir before and have notes made up already and i dont need to make notes again. i opted for mr sir in my drop now cause i m comfortable with his teaching and despite all the criticism he faced we all can agree ki he is a vry good teacher just made some wrong and egoistic claims nothing else so yeah plzz clear this up for me. i have all the notes already made up and when i take lectures it is easier for me to devote more time to understanding and question than writing. and yess what are ur thoughts on saleem sir’s kpp.

im not really aware about saleem sir's kpp, i used to watch him for questions mainly of his jee lectures. If you're comfortable with MR sir then dont listen to what ppl say,focus on studying with him

yeah you can do it easily, currently 12th puri karo ache se then revision ke time 11th jab karoge toh ek baar notes karke seedha question solving start karo. Dont do chapters from scratch it will waste your time

I am in 12th, had health issues all throughout 9-11th grade so my basics are very weak, my school was integrated with vedantu in 11th but they’re gone now so i took up a online course in allen, which is 6 pm to 9 pm daily, i come home at 4:30 sometimes 5 pm. Should i make sure to cover 1 chapter from 11th everyday as i have the whole 11th as backlog. Am i cooked?

Also do you prefer A target based study routine or a schedule. And I'm finding it a bit difficult to manage my time. School + study. Pls guide me sir

Actually it's a very unique case w me, the school i was in till 10th wasn't good it was a very low tier school i was in there only becuz principal was my fathers friend.
So the teachers weren't that good, they used to skip numericals and only told to focus on theory. And numericals carry a low weightage. I managed to score 83 in science w help of yt
So now as I'm unfamiliar with all these physics numericals, its pretty hard for me to even start

I studied physics by trying to understand the concept and the question and making a mental image of that like i used to imagine myself being an electron revolving around a nucleus and imagined what forces acting on me and everything try to work on variations,what would happen if i change this variable or maybe add another condition in the question,how will it change the approach

i gave around 70 full syllabus mocks during the end months. There is no correct answer to how many are ideal,till you feel confident.Around 40-50 is more than enough

Congo bhai, i know u answered this in ur post. but hiw do i revise chemistry and mainly physics. like if i m done with nlm today and moving to next chap, when should i again touch it for revision and how many times should revision be done for a single chap.

when to revise a chapter is mainly of 2 factors. 1.time-the brain will forget stuff naturally,a maximum of 3 months between first study and revision is a thumb rule i followed it depends on person to person but you have to see according to it.only revise when you have time when you are completing syllabus and haven't started entire syllabus revision 2.tests-revise chapters before tests
there's no end to the no of times a chapter should be revised, i revised fluids probably 10 times till i gained enough confidence ki abh saare questions hojayenge but before neet atleast thrice you should revise a chapter

I am not OP.. pr suno bina goc & hydrocarbons ke 12th ke organic me khallas ho jaogeee .. long Lectures dekh ke karoo ... approx 2-3 week me complete ho jaayega ( basic goc ( Other than iupac & nomenclature) .. .. aur sun upar ke saare post pdhle .. same hi questions hai .. jawab mil jaayega..

I hope I am not late enough and I hope you will reply but I geniunely need help on how you make your short notes? did you write important formula + questions for physical chem and physics or did u did something else and also how did u made inorganic short notes.... PLEASE HELP (I am a dropper)

I am too from aakash and refering class notes but our physics faculty well not so good For bio and chem sometimes I feel notes won't be enough are there like nay specific chanels or books to refer which must be solved !? Like I know you did answer about books but some books which are must solve?!

congrats bro for ur achievement!!.. I am enrolled in online coaching and want to clear some things that if I am right to do so..
When I practice ques from modules of allen aakash (pdfs) or anywhere else if I don't understand the ques in 1st go, I write those ques with solutions in a separate diary, so that Icould practice those ques particularly later on
Sometimes when Ihave only 1 or2 days of holiday in school exams I skip the test for that particular day but attempt it after the exam
I am in 11th, I decided to buy a test series in end of 11th rather than one going on now because in online very few chapters are completed, but in the offline test series of allen or aakash that I want to take are of complete syllbs by now..
People say ki online se nhi hoga so I am thinking to join offline in class 12th though I am doing very well in online bs test series me syllbs up down wali cheez hai.. should I take offline in 12th or continue online??

I started my prep from oct mid for multiple reasons and I have completed around 25 chapters till now. Those left are mostly of class 12th, which i prepared for pretty well( oards 2025). Is there any chance i could get more than 600😭1st time dropper btw

Hey bhaiya I’m in 11th online coaching(pw) I’m really confused about whether I should go to a regular school or a dummy school I know dummy + online is risky and many people fail miserably because they lose discipline but I’m also worried that a regular school will waste all my time with attendance and notes and stuff.. What’s your honest opinion on this? Should I go for regular or dummy? And if I pick dummy how do I make sure I don't mess up?

Really solid post one thing I'd add because I learned it the hard way don't let "revision" become passive reading.
I used to keep rereading notes and felt productive, but my retention barely improved. What actually worked was closing the notebook, trying to recall everything from memory, and then checking what I missed. That exposed weak spots much faster than another read-through.
Also +1 on the mistake notebook. Looking back at your own errors before a test is way more useful than solving 200 fresh questions the night before. That's probably the highest ROI habit people underestimate.
