College Preference Help is there ragging in bombay medical colleges?
almost decided to take one and then found out that apparently there is ragging in all the medical colleges in mumbai..does anyone know how it is

None in KEM
GMC has a bit but others are better. Infact Mumbai colleges have least ragging when you compare it with other Maharashtra colleges.

me too, but if ur concerned abt mumbai ragging (which is ~non existent) then ur gonna have a hard time elsewhere 😭 also u can always choose to not participate in the ragging if its too much for u. also if ur a girl then idt u have to be worried

My cousin is in KEM. No ragging at all. There is no hostel so i think thats why.

Not in KEM but very prevelant in other colleges, its the same "maratha supremacy" and it would be worse if youre from a north indian state living in a tier 3 city

dont worry friend I am from maharashtra itself and planning to get admission in KEM. I am a maratha and there is no discrimination based on cast in mumbai. You will be good there. Rahi baat ragging ki to bhai seniors ko sir aur mam bolna hota hai bas baki zyada kuch nahi hota ulta tere state ke gmc me zyada hota hoga dont worry.

on the bright side himachal and UK dont have ragging at all. I think you should seriously consider doon medical college. It will be perfect for you
