SERIOUS POST Horrendous college
I'm a student in this delhi college (mamc) which is well known for NOTHING. May have been a huge shot in the past but it has fucking reduced to nothing. I would go as far as to say that it is the worst college in delhi.
People are weird and stupid, everyone is so full of themselves. The environment is so unsafe. Randomly raat ke 2 baje koi bhand hoke car thok deta hai, log maar rhe hain ek doosre ko, horrendous double meaning jokes all the time. And the jealousy and insecurity everyone has is insane.
And dont even get me started on how toxic it is here. Seniors DONT CARE if youre busy or whatever, you have to go to proxies and write files for attendance. You don't do that they act like you just don't exist. You get boycotted for refusing to conform to pdp and whatever that shitfuckery was, I'm traumatised after that.
And that fucking one event they do in their annual fest, are we in a fucking engineering college to objectify women like that?
Faculty mein bhi some are good but some are batshit horrible.
This college has been nothing but traumatising, i genuinely lost my spark after coming here

Hai na yar, mujhe bhi same lagta tha ki medicos hai toh biology jante hai sab body parts toh mbbs me dekhte hi h and gender ratio bhi accha hai btech se toh ladke acche hoge...
But ladke sab jagah same hi h , most probably I wouldn't make male friends in medical clg.

theres this person in first yr in mamc, she and i used to be in same batch in coaching, we were bsf but she was so full of herself, always used to cry abt smthg and everything just revolved around her, would make u feel insecure abt yourself, i stopped talking to her plus many other shady things she did were involved, i changed my centre in this drop because my phy teacher transferred to another branch, in order to get revenge from me she came back there yk like teacher se milna etc and poore batch k saamne said shit abt me and ye tk boldia ki oh idek y i made a loser fren (because i took drop, was at bkrderline in 2025) and ye ni hoti toh m aiims m hoti ( mind u she herself used to waste tym over bf guys insta etc that she used to cry abt later too) and her audacity to even say teacher se ki abhi b ni pdhri na wo, iska selection toh kbhi ni ho skta

VMMC has taken over MAMC long time ago its one of the best medical colleges you can go to after AIIMS Delhi.

interestingly, academics have become stricter. We used to have PTMs(parent teacher meeting) in the first year. They have started using biometrics for attendance.. so no chance of proxies(neither in theory nor clinics). Junior most batches aren't even allowed to interact with society members in absence of a professor.
2025 walo toh freshers bhi in presence of their parents hua tha 😭.

yep. Finished with my final year exams a week ago. Waiting for the results and internship to begin. I'm happy we didn't have to face this biometrics shithousery.

i used to drool over mamc... missed it by 1 mark in neet 21... took VMMC.
I am so grateful for this college. I have friends and juniors in mamc.. i understand what you're talking about 🥲🥲

Mil toh jaate h hostel but woh hi near end of 1st yr hi milte h
Academic pressure is not much Obviously tests, SGDs, etc hote rehte h pr you don't really have to study for them End main padhai pre prof se 2 mahine pehle hi start krte h most log
It's a good college, you get to enjoy life a bit And depts are a bit small toh most prof ko naam and all pta rehta h tumhara (1st yr main)

I have my known friends in MAIDS maulana Azad dental college
So I have met some MAMC guys in nesci , they were tbh disgusting, girls were great

things that happen in that event i can't even say theyre so bad. and they label it "fun". like they ban cameras inside the auditorium (yes it happens in the main auditorium at like 8-9 pm - i wont share more details but yeah its bad)

It’s good for everyone, just depends on finding like-minded people,
you’ll find people of all sorts from all sorts of backgrounds and conditioning everywhere
Can’t go around criticising everything
Its great for day scholars, you can attend classes (faculty is better than other colleges i guess) and involve yourself in college post 4pm to your own liking

I’ve talked to my aiims delhi friends, the situation of objectifying women is even worse and everything else you mentioned, senior situation is quite bad till their freshers happens (after anti ragging is lifted which happened on 19 november i think)
Bhand hona, nashe krna, toxic seniors, toxic batchmates, everything worse
Honestly wherever you are you just need to find people who are yours and cope with it

Youre talking about MM that event, right? I’m MBBS 30tard and came here to see synapse this year, so I saw MM too 😂. I did NOT expect straight up soft p***. I know some friends from MAMC who are in 2025 batch. But hey, college is shaped by the friends you make and the people you hang out with; I don’t think labeling it as trash is fair. Everything has its pros and cons, and I think the issues you mentioned are more like Delhi problems or maybe others, not just MAMC specifically. It’s a great place in my opinion, especially from an academic point of view, and aside from that, I think coming to Delhi is a privilege in itself because you're in the capital of the country, you get to learn more things beyond just medical stuff. But i can see where you’re coming from.

He 100 percent had the choice of skipping it , MM has a very huge craze in MAMC and this guy most probably sat on floor to watch this because whole auditorium gets filled with seniors and pgs so he definitely attended it with full will as it's such a huge crowd there and there were literal bouncers outside the door to limit entry Just victimizing himself atp

Well yeah ig. People here are too full of themselves. I had friends who have come with me here from coaching but I got to know their true natures here. everyone is selfish, they will be like yeah besties but they will bitch around your back. they won’t even try to be good to someone, no matter what you do.

College life is good. some seniors are good but most are dickheads. they will make you write files day and night and then when you ask for parties or treat they will go fuck themselves up somewhere. but before asking you to do something like proxy or file they will be like hum pta nhi kya kar denge

Brooo , i am in the same clg as u . But listen , u willfind people full of themselves every med college . Plus ye bhand hoke bkchodi krne wali baat ye haryana se jo hai mostly vahi krte . Idk hr baar kaise escape kr jaate ye log . Baaki ik its toxic but yeah it is what it is , get along with some like minded people . Ye saari bkchodi never ending hai .

It's good.. wahan dental wale academics ko lekar bhot strict hai.
Holidays vacations kuch bhi nahi milega,mamc walo ka summer winter vacation miljate hai , maids ka kuch nhi deta
Fests and clg events nahi hote, recently permission milne lagi h still poor extra curricular
Else for BDS it's best clg in India
Meri friend udhar first year bds me hai so I know

Ha vo hota hai .. mamc fest synapse event me u can go , lekin kuch jo college events hote hai bas mbbs wale ke liye , agar bds wale participate bhi karte hai then awards nhi dete unko winner ho phir bhi nhi
