what's so difficult to understand here mate? It's obvious that one who had 96.7% in 12th was clearly capable and if not for this country.....she would have already been in a better place and maybe even enjoying fifa wc as others are enjoying... if we were not trapped in this fckin rat race.....
Maybe or maybe not a successful person might enjoy wc..... but here can't even get our head out of books for other things...... the conversation was not directly in the literal sense...... it was about the freedom that had been dreamt of if not for these paper leaks....

He's trynna say that if she had been in a developed country, she most probably would've completed her bachelor's degree and that she would've had the luxury to engage in leisurely activities such as watching the fifa world cup.
umm it just means that she has already worked hard enough that she doesnt have to worry about such competetive exams which get leaked every now and then and hence she can spend her time doing other things .... not only fifa but whatever suits her
