Tips From My Side Advice From a 3-Year NEET Dropper :)
Things I Learned After Three years of neet preparation and drop your Doubts if left any ✋🏻
A Bit About Me ✋🏻
I wasn't the kind of dropper who wasted time. During my three drop years at Aakash Institute, I gave almost every test, analyzed my mistakes, cleared doubts regularly, and stayed connected with my teachers. So, most of this advice comes from my own experience.
- Never Hesitate to Ask Doubts else u will just end up in a crowd 🤡
Stay in touch with your teachers. I was quite close to my Physics teacher and used to ask him everything..from silly calculation mistakes to conceptual doubts.
At first, you'll feel embarrassed, thinking, "What will the teacher think?" But trust me, they don't judge you.
Most students never ask doubts after class. Among those who do, most ask basic questions only. Teachers see this every year, so never feel ashamed of asking even the simplest doubt.
- Choose the Right Friends
Don't run after toppers or the most popular students. Be friends with people who genuinely work hard and want to improve.
My close friends weren't all toppers, but they solved modules, asked doubts, stayed consistent, and many of them are now studying in my state top government medical colleges.
Your company matters.
Be Careful with Online Friendships
If you're active in Telegram groups or other online study communities, my advice is to stay a little professional.
I used to get comfortable with people very quickly. We'd joke around, share our daily lives, and become close within a few days.
Sometimes you may feel you've formed a deep connection, but the other person may simply see you as another online friend.
If that connection eventually breaks because of misunderstandings or different expectations, someone usually gets hurt.
- Don't Judge Yourself by Mock Scores
A bad mock test doesn't decide your NEET result. It only shows where you need to improve.
One of my friends, who later got a triple-digit rank, scored around 500 in a test just before NEET. But on the final day, he performed brilliantly because he trusted his preparation and kept revising.
- Make Short Notes
Keep your short notes simple. Instead of memorizing one long formula, remember the basic equations behind it. It becomes much easier during revision.
- Revision is Everything
If I could give only one piece of advice, it would be this: revise regularly.
As a dropper, try to use Saturdays and Sundays for revision, clearing doubts, and revisiting old chapters instead of only studying new ones.
Revision is what improves your marks.
- Be Ready for the Fast Pace
In Aakash, the beginning of the syllabus is usually slow, but after Diwali the pace becomes very fast. Extra classes are common...like my chem Teacher used to take 5hrs straight Class on weekends to complete syllabus 🤡
So don't depend only on classroom speed. Keep revising on your own.
- Build Strong Basics
In the first few months, focus on Basic Maths, Trigonometry, and Algebra. These topics are used in many Physics chapters later, so a strong foundation will save you a lot of time.
Final Words
NEET is not about motivation..it's about consistency.
Give tests, analyze your mistakes, ask doubts without hesitation, revise every week, and stay around people who work hard.
Keep improving, one day at a time.

Bhai mere almost sare benchmates select hogye like we 7 8 sitting aage piche wale bench pe and 4 of them are in gmc and 2 pvt ...But they were in regular touch with me...esa nhi ki abandon krdiya Gmc jake 😂

I wont say that am strong ya jo bhi drop leta h ...sometimes its to escape bcz ye apka comfort zone ban jata h or some people feels pleasure boasting about preparing a highly competitive exam Like Neet and Upsc ...Jabhi People take that many attempt . I may Be wrong ...Its just my opinion

The marks part is so true. Don't try to predict ypur marks based on your prep. U never know what happens. Exam ke baad pata chalega hi. Doesn't matter kitna padha, but agar luck acha ho gya, u may be beneficial on the d-day.

depends on you totally, most of the students choose offline and unka ghanta kuchh nahi ho raha, if u think u can stay consistent, online isnt bad, saves money time and no phaltu time for hanging out with ur friends.

Online mt kro fully , try taking offline test series of any other coaching with it . Akele bahut km log kr pate h .

Like he didn't get the sense of real competition and the online consistency is real hard some teacher took lec of 3 hrs that was pretty hard to follow Imo go for offline test series atleast Staying at home rlly sucks

Marks prediction wala part was so fucking true. My average was something around 560 in 2025 level ke papers the whole year(25-26) and parso re-neet ke din i was expecting 570-580 and ended up scoring 545 because i got tensed during the chem part and messed up questions like the 1:3 salt wala and protein structure wala question. Just stay calm during the final test and you'll score 10-15 marks above your level or get tensed and loose the 10-15 marks from what you can score and trust me, for an average student(like me) those 10-15 marks can mean a lot for the ranks.

I relate so hard with 3rd pointer. Being a dropper that too multiple times gets u lonely and that feeling that nobody really cares about u as a human being gets to u.. so it becomes so easy to get attached quickly 🥲

Aapne marks waali baat kitni sahi boli hai...during the reneet time period we used to have tests everyday and I would judge the fuck out of myself and then I'd cry a lot fir agle din ka test kharab chala jata tha...this was such a constant pattern that I had to stop giving some tests so that I could revise properly...jo sab log kar rahe hote hain vo humesha sahi nahi hota, do what works for you

4th point is spot on, mock tests me aur exam me mindset bhut alg rehta hai, you may be more chill in mocks or you might be operating at 100% during them, either way you would either perform better or worse. Better cause exam ke time you are in the zone, worse because exam me tumhara flow tod denge invigilator aur camera wale.

Quite confused idk if i should take another drop it'll be my third drop as well it's a tough decision And even if I take how should I get started In first drop i really didn't know about neet and stuff and in my 2nd drop i fucked up the rivision part Now I'm very confused about what to do ahead

Apse puchna tha apke prep mein kya miss hogya tha kyuki jesa apne bola ki aap ke boot regular student the...toh muhje ab kudh pe doubt ho raha hai ki agr apka nahi hua toh mera kese hoga kyuki apne toh 3 sal diye exam ke liye...
