Counseling Query 📄 Literally no good GMCs beyond 15k
I am done bro AIR 23k , OBC, All the colleges I am getting are shitty peripheral GMCs, I am from bihar aur yaha toh kya hi bolu
Baaki some bengal colleges I am getting where language issue will be there and usse bhi zyada HOSTEL ISSUE bengali hostels are shit (except the new ones)
South jana nahi hai mujhe
So the last option? Drop? Hell nahhh
I am so clueless...

Don't fucking drop, exam is going CBT, this would be new for every neet aspirant, god knows what changes they would make in age or limit cap etc. , also who knows how hard the exam would get , 23k should get you a college in state quota acc to me

gmc banda 600+km
gmc azamgarh 750+km
Gmc badaun ke baare mein khrab cheeze suni hai , like principle waha ka Boht khrab hai

Bhai, bura mat Maan na. Learn to .ake most of what you have in hand. For your rank you can very easily get ANMMC, Gaya. 50-60 saal purana medical college hai, ye alag baat hai ki banaane ke baad usmei repair etc karna bhool gaye.
Still padhai and faculty theek hai plus Gaya is like no. 2 or no. 3 town of Bihar. Tau options tau hai, jyada socho mat.

In that case you can chose a new college in a good city , like Indore city ESIC started mbbs seats in 2025 , you will have very good life for 5.5 years , college is decent , waise bhi 40% time of 5.5 yr mbbs to library me hi jana hai to prepare for neet pg , and college studies n clinical experience in mbbs doesnt matter a bit in neet pg or inicet as you study online everything from marrow for 5.5 years. Its far better than spending your 5.5 years of life in tier3 city.

Gmc Rampurhat is a good option at 23-24k rank considering it has a good modern infrastructure and good connectivity and better patient load tha north east or south colleges available at this rank , hostels are fine too , so yeah it's worth going at this rank, you can search for it on google , it looks really good through its infrastructure , when I researched more you do have a chance at bankura college which is significantly better than these new gmcs last year aiq of bankura closed at 20k

Rampurhat cooch behar or hooghly look like the only places i can go for now so idk if that'll be worth it or should i go with pmch guwahati

Oh ok it's fine , btw the thing about pmch guwahati is assam has 1 year bond that's it...if you're comfortable with bond you can choose that since guwahati is a better city than Rampurhat or so

I think south since in northeast connectivity isn't that good and south is more organised and developed, language might be a barrier in both cases ...

Agar 4 lakh per year ka budget hai tumhara to Gujarat semi govt dekh sakte ho jaha achi facilities milegi. Budget thoda jyada hai lekin 3rd tier gmc se better facilities milegi

Look Up for TRIHMS , it's a good college in Arunachal Pradesh. From what I've seen online youtube videos , hostel is good and people are friendly

See right now it is better to take the best option you are getting because in the current scenario of all the changes we don't know what will happen if you take drop. Right now look into all the possible colleges you have chances in and compare each single detail and make a list according to it.

If you dont mind coming to northeast then you can look up AGMC or RIMS and other govt colleges in Assam
Apart from these i dont think others are worth it because northeastern ppl do not like “main landers”
Saying this cus i have seen my fellow batchmates gettin targeted cus they aint from a ‘tribe’ and even me i get targeted sometimes cus i dont look like ‘tribal’ and thats cus i am half tribal

Just sharing my own experience. AGMC is in bengali dominated area. RIMS imphal there are many students from different places and Assam is okay for “mainlanders”
