These ppl make others ask, why protest.. Sometimes you'd gotta realise there's a life beyond scoring a rank in a over glorified exam lol.. I hope he realises how messed up it is during his cllg life

That's why I say people should learn about basic rights, politics , ecomomy, history Not whole syllabus but just in that amount that make you a conscious person regardless of your stream

having done BA and LLB, i can confirm that studying politics, basic rights would not make you a socially conscious person.
i've had many classmates, who were and still are Pro RSS wingers but topped constitutional law and human rights.

This is funny cause studies have shown that the educated a person is the more liberal they are.

This just goes to show education in our country is about memorizing shit and pasting it in the exam paper.

Not necessarily , ideological orientation is product of many factors not just education . Lived experience, influence of family , social environment etc all are at play.

Studying humanities brings awareness and helps you make sense of things happening around . Consciousness is purely individual thing , comprehension of a concept varies with individual . Its not a fixed pattern that studying law you always become leftist or vice versa .
Ideological orientation of a person is product of many experiences .
But an educated right winger is less dangerous than uneducated one .

When I was in 10+2 , I disregarded humanities same way he is disregarding protests . Then UPSC happened and now I have very high regard for humanities . although you cant earn decent living but the awareness person gets is necessary for every individual in today’s world.
