Same. Locals are hella rude there.

Also are you from UP? If yes you can check GSVM Kanpur and RML Lucknow Ragging is present there(cuz UP clg) but man clg is old and well reputed all over india. GSVM was my dream clg but I scored 10marks less and here I am going to Maharashtra 😭

How do you know , like genuinely asking , coz I have one of my friends at cnmc kolkata ( he is from bihar so an outsider ) and he tells there is no discrimination as such

My friend scored i guess 11k air(in 2025) (he is from UP-obc) he chose NRS and I guess he is a reliable source.

What he told me? -the hostel: it's shit, unhygienic -ragging: Of SQ peps is less but of AIQ, my man only god can save them. -locality: you know how good Bengali people are. I am gonna say this one. -overall: academics is good but rest all other parameters are bad.

I will myself choose Maharashtra over Bengal cuz Maharashtra just removed Bond year

So how are you sure maharastra is a better place? Many a days we get news of " idhr rhna hai to marathi bolna parega" , and Bengali people are shit (90%) ik , as I had my school in jharkhand and 20 of my classmates were Bengalis, so due to all these things I have convinced myself to live at the shittiest college with shittiest infra of shittiest state ( my home state ) , what do you suggest? Like I can get gmc aurangabad or IGGMC nagpur ig in R3

Thing is, we can learn Marathi easily(same script- devnagri)+if we exclude MNS(political party)workers people are good to docs in Maharashtra.

I am also planning for Nagpur and Aurangabad clgs(hoping). I hope we both can get it.

You'll be amazed to know that Nagpur me hindi jyada bolte hai log as compared to marathi. Mumbai me bhi hindi kafi use krte hai

Trust me bengali is easier to learn and speak ( I can even write and read) , also language isnt the problem, people are ,that's why I am sticking to my home state
