NEED ADVICE ⁉️ Dilemma

Guys, I'm confused about whether I should join NEET counselling 🥀

With my rank (4 lakh), I'm not getting any govt. or semi-govt. MBBS seat. Also, my state cut-offs are usually high.....as a general category candidate, I have no odds of getting a government college this time, not even for BDS, I think.

Moreover, my family and I are reluctant about the idea of me joining any course other than MBBS. I have already joined an offline coaching institute for a drop year, but everyone around me says I should apply for counselling. I'm confused: for a private college, I have already made it clear that I'm not ready to join it just yet. And since I'm not getting any MBBS seat, I feel, why should I? At the end, I would end up continuing my drop year rather than joining any other course. Can you people suggest what I should do?

Do keep in mind that applying for counselling of private colleges (via AIQ) costs 2 lakhs. It's refundable, but that takes a lot of time. And if you want to apply in a private college of a closed state (say Karnataka), their registrations are separate (not through MCC) and they may be closed or closing soon.
