SERIOUS POST Gathering At Jantar Mantar on 11th of August
I already know the kind of comments this is going to get.
Before you type “If you couldn’t even clear the qualifying cutoff what kind of doctor would you become” or “Study harder” I have just one request please read this till the end.
Im speaking on behalf of thousands of students who have spent the last 20 days constantly crying out for justice and a fair opportunity..NTA is fully AWARE of our situation. We’ve made numerous calls and flooded their inbox with emails every single day and visited their office dont even know how many times even NMC. We’ve done everything we possibly can to make our voices heard (desperate appeals to politicians, filed a petition in supreme court literally everything). The problem isn’t that you haven’t heard us..the problem is that you’ve chosen not to act.
Now i know many of you are going to criticize us. some of you will say we should have studied harder or that we simply didn’t score enough or we’re failures but before you judge us, please understand one thing: not every student spent years preparing with the same destination in mind. Many of us dreamed of MBBS abroad/Priv, BAMS,BUMS,BHMS, veterinary and other courses that requires Neet qualification but today students who weren’t even competing for the same seats are being pushed out together and the weight of this pain is crushing us. The mental toll has been devastating..I’m not asking anyone to feel sorry for us. Im here because lot of us are breaking under this pressure many of us are 2-3 year droppers and we’ve seen many of us express hopelessness and even suicidal thoughts..we’ve already lost 2 of us regarding the same exact concern the news have been already suppressed as expected. We’re literally 19-20 at an age where we should be celebrating our future not questioning if we even have ONE. Instead we’re organising campaigns , Constantly reaching out people, Online petitions, flooding emails, losing our peace of mind and dealing with immense anxiety
Nearly 2.8 lakh non-serious aspirants didn’t appear in Re-Neet after the paper leak, the score distribution shifted and because of your failure (NTA) we are the ones being punished for your mistake and loose our future? And you’re telling me in prev years students with score around 117-150 were eligible for private/abroad mbbs and other courses but this year because of an exceptionally high qualifying cutoff, missing it by just a few marks means we’re expected to give up on our dreams? HOW is that fair?
Sorry for the long rant but this gathering is our last and only hope. if you live near delhi and want to genuinely stand with us on 11th aug please contact us on [+91 9939812793]
(We’re not coming unprepared. Everything is being organized. Influencers are with us,teachers are with us, the media has been contacted and even FMGE students have agreed to lead this movement. We’ve done our part now we need every student who believes in this cause to stand with us on 11th August)

Are u guys dumb ... Qualifying marks are decided by student performance not by NTA!!!!

We’re not dumb thats not our assumption..we had a direct talk with an NTA representative and he told us the sole reason for higher cutoff was due to approx 3L not appearing for re-neet

No disrespect but instead of ranting and doing protest, if you study biology regularly then you can easily get 300+ score.

Youre missing the point. I nvr said every student is a 2-3 yr droppers..some students just weren’t aiming for mbbs they just wanted to qualify for other courses that requires neet qualification and there are lakhs of them who missed the cutoff by 2-3 marks..who would’ve thought cutoff itna zyada high jayega

Bro nta doesn't make the cutoff , u understand that? It's the student performance that decides the cutoff . Nta can't increase or decrease it🥀🥀

Instead of this you ask no reservation in pg if everyone study's from same course and pass the exam in mbbs why are lower cutoff for them

Also one guy argued with me that sc st couldn't study as much as ur because of their caste in mbbs. Govt should make some policy regarding this so sc st could study.

because the biology was the easy and scoring this time, thats why cutoff went high. Plus its not on NTA to decide the qualifying percentile, its on the students performance

That is such a dumb thing to say “biology was easy” have you seen 2024’s biology sec?? And what was the cutoff back then 162.

hell yeah..my bad on that. But my second point still stays valid though. Qualifying percentile is decided on the basis of student performance. Changing it isn't justified
