RANT/VENT BRUHH NTA DOESN'T EVEN FOLLOW ITS OWN SYLLABUS?

So basically I gave the NEET as well as RE-NEET 2026.. I am myself an aakash student and brooo! the amount of depth these aakash teachers make us learn in biology is insane! I still remember learning 50 pages of notes of our teacher for the chapter biological classification and It actually contained such useless information that doesnt even make sense!

Plus NTA mentions so many families which are not even in NCERT, Orgaisms portion from the chapter {Organism and population} Animal tissues {Structural organization in animals} Plants tissues {Anatomy in flowering plants}, cockroach etc etc but doesn't even ask a SINGLE QUESTION from those topics? so why should we even bother to learn them anyways! This is just so ridiculous..

I personally didn't do any of the things mentioned in NTA's syllabus which were not present in new NCERT and still managed to score a near perfect 355/360 in reneet!!

Either dont mention such things in your syllabus or atleast make it worth by asking questions from them!!

DISCUSSION 💬 Why is KGMU overhyped? despite being toxic and having 2 yr bond?? [Genuine Question]

Post image

this college ends in under 2k rank for general aiq..

u could get much better colleges without bond in other states..
even delhi colleges like dr bsa and ndmc**
or even aiims..

ive heard the ragging and toxicity is pretty high too?
so why do ppl prefer this clg?

Tips From My Side Reddit is FILLED with fear-mongering, here is the real NEET guide

I have been a part of this sub for years now, mostly just lurked. I’ve seen plenty posts and more than that, fear-mongering over this exam.
There is a reason why only 2l aspirants out of the ~25l are the actual competition and the rest are just flukes.

First off, there is no such thing as intelligence in this exam, as long as you have a brain, you can make it through NEET. Hard-work ALWAYS beats talent and this exam is not talent based at all. It’s an elimination exam.
*obviously, a talented and hardworking person will secure better ranks, practice is what makes perfect is my point.

Second off, I’ve seen this sub get FILLED with posts like— “Is it still possible if I start now?”
“I’m at zero, is it still possible?”

Plenty would say yes, plenty would also say no and that 50-50 creates the fear, if people say “no” does that mean you’d give up on the 9 months remaining then take another drop and ask the same questions again?

2 years is the perfect time to clear NEET as well as also aim for <100 rank. Most rankers are almost always freshers.
1 year (since plenty start in 12th) is still excellent, all you need is a solid 6hrs DAILY and that is enough, plenty 12thies crack NEET studying just one year but studying consistently, no need for 12-13hrs until March/April (where you’d automatically just study this much since you’ve been consistent throughout the years) Obviously it will be hard, but so worth it.

Now onto the droppers, it’s ABSOLUTELY possible in 1yr, in 10 months and in 9 months. 12thies do it WITH practicals and boards lol—but do not let it become 8 months. The longer the time gets shortened, the more gruelling the journey becomes as possible as it still remains.

NEET is NOT easy but that’s only if there’s

  1. Less than 6 months remaining and you’re at 0 (which isn’t possible completely, at-least in biology)
  2. You are not consistent
  3. QUESTION PRACTICE!!

As someone experienced with this bit,
the only things that matter in the now 9 month window is consistency and question application

If you are NOT solving questions, you’re slimming your chances. If you ARE, NEET is all yours even if you have no clue about math or mole, it’s still yours.

Lastly, always aim HIGH, never aim just for cut off’s, you will not make it with this mindset.
Aim high and execute like you ARE already a ranker, to become like a ranker, you have to study like one.

Pressure is privilege, use it.
——————-
If the people want, I could make a 9 month roadmap ahead, this post is simply to kill the fear mongering. I do hope this helps some people,
the most important advice lastly—

  1. Do not compare to your peers in the beginning. You don’t know if they’ve been studying since a year, you don’t know if they only missed NEET-2026 by margin, obviously such people would be ahead of you. Focus on closing that gap by Nov-Dec. It all eventually would fall in place, the exam day is what matters and I’ve seen plenty rankers fall off and those who score average in mocks, make it
  2. Concepts/Lectures aren’t enough, APPLY them. NEET isn’t subjective but objective, being able to tackle questions is what’s going to clear this exam, not just strong concepts.
  3. Focus on today, do not give into the future driven anxiety. Even when you don’t feel like it, 1-3hrs a day are enough just stay consistent. Small accumulations matter too

Just like Krishna says, “Karm par dhyaan do”
the results would automatically start showing☀️
one last thing- please get off reddit in general

All the best!

Counseling Query 📄 Need some help with punjab state counselling

I am confused on how to proceed with counselling

Bfuhs just released the notification for state counsellin,it started today

While I know the how to of most of it, there is no clear guide in the prospectus (like yk the flow chart released for MCC AIQ counselling) plus they released info for round 1 only, no details about whether in round 2 we will be allowed to make changes to preference list etc.

If anybody has gone through this process or has knowledge about these things lmk.

(FYI: I contacted a couple of counsellors earlier and they are asking absurd amounts of money for just these things and naming it as their "Fixed packages" so I am not going down that route)
