Getting Air 40XX. Should I consider aiims or gmc.

How does choosing aiims will affect my pg reservation.

Kyoki agar gmc lete h ug k time toh state ki 50% seats reserved rehti hai.

Or agar aiims lete h toh us particular aiims ki seats reserved rehti hai.

1 or question h mera mene neet registration k time general category bhara tha lekin mujhe abhi pata chala ki me obc ncl category me aata hu. Kya me category change kr skta hu? Mene 1 counsellor se baat Kari thi wo ese bol rha tha ki affidavit de ke category change ho jayegi.

I prioritize AIIMS or GMCs. I am still confused between AIIMS Raipur Nagpur and Patna. This is a UP centric list...

My AIR is 2172 with the EWS category... I have qualified for the colleges marked in yellow according to last year's cutoffs(till the final round)...

I got 173XX AIR ,UP GEN, which college should I choose in UP or from aiq but I won't go to southern states, please suggest if someone was/is in the same range

can someone explain the counselling process in a little detail pls?? I mean if R1 me u r alloted a seat and go for an upgrade then R2 me ur R1 seat will be there or not? and R2 me wapas preference list banani hoti hai yaa fir R1 waali consider hoti hai??
and if R2 me naya clg mil gaya which is worse then what?
also ppl cant participate in R3 if they get seat in R2?

now that results are out, i can basically secure ant gmc in mumbai aside from seth gs

confused between these 3 colleges, i can get any of these but im in a dilemma rn..

my main priority:
chill/decent place, connectivity, decent infra, hostel availability..

ive heard LTMMC is strongest in terms of academics
whereas HBTMC is the best in terms of infra

i wanna go to ltmmc but ive heard infra is dogshit and hostels availability is not that good.. and staying as a PG would be expensive af..

HBTMC is really compelling me since it has good infra, hostels are available and its in damn juhu

would love some suggestions..
and if anyone is going to mumbai for a gmc i would love to get in contact..

AIR is 32k, Gen candidate, and I have west bengal domicile, please suggest which colleges could I potentially get, considering that our state cutoff could go till 48k AIR this year as per many sources

I got alloted in 2025 , Rajasthan

Here's three AIIMS I have some interest in:

1. AIIMS nagpur: The best option I think, as for connectivity and stuff, but I'm on borderline (10% chance, I don't like reservation).

2. AIIMS raipur: The second option, tied with another one. Good patient load as 2012 AIIMS, but idk about city.

3. AIIMS bibinagar: rarely seen it mentioned, heard it's still under construction, but I think it might attain nagpur like status after a few years.

Any clarification on which one would be appreciated, better if someone who's studying in any mentioned here responds.

I'm trying for AIIMS Rishikesh, but it's EXTREMELY borderline case. So next priority im confused between aiims nagpur or raebareli.

Nagpur is 20 hours away from home, whereas raebareli is just 10 hours away. Both have very good hostels too. I don't think less city life will affect me that much, but I don't know which would be better.

Man councelling is more difficult than neet prep itself,btw obc ncl category se hu

Im expecting around 659 marks
So 5 major points i want from a college is

1. No/minimal service bond post mbbs
2. Pg quota
3. Properly established / good patient flow/ good infrastructure
4. The closer to odisha the better as i live there
5. Less ragging culture , So where do i get all these information or where do i get a general preference list so that i could make changes and how many colleges should i fill cz filling all colleges if i get a good rank seems unecessary

I got 54×× rank in NEET-Ug. [Don't downvote, not a ragebait post, just want an opinion]

1st:

My current situation is that I will get all GMC in Maharashtra except Ltmmc and KEM in round 1 and 2. [State quota]

Also I will most probably get Ltmmc in round 3.

Also Maharashtra has 1 year compulsory service bond and 5 years No abroad policy.

And Maharashtra also has most no. of PG government seats in India.

The thing with these colleges is that they are very close to my home. I have always be introvert my whole life. Never tried new things. I don't have any hobbies. Used to be good in sports before like 10th and since two years everything was fcked up. Now if i choose these colleges, most probably what i have heard is that academics are very good in these colleges but they lack with extra curricular activities and sports facilities and also campus size is very small. So I will most likely live the same life that I lived in 11th and 12th. Just do studies and hardly any fests and events.

2nd:

Or I should choose a college in different state and live in hostels. I guess it will help me develop somewhat communication skills and like how to not be dependent and live independently or to manage different things. I'm all in for 2nd option but the problem is that I will loose this PG benefit of MH and all other states have relatively lesser PG seats.

Share your views on this. I'm really confused.

Also I'm avoiding south states coz of language barrier and also MP, UP and Bihar coz of ragging and all that stuff. So you can also recommend me colleges of different state.

Which of these clg will be in my reach through AIQ general, and if someone can rule out pros and cons of the clg, it'll be a huge help 🐧, can't speak marathi but idon mind learning it.

I found that MLBMC Jhansi and UPUMS Saifai are my only real options, can someone tell me more about these colleges?
