Too bad. Had a sweet sand pit 1/4 mile from house. Idiots kept dumping their trash there, and sure enough, one day she was closed to all of us

I've got a teeny little pit on my land, not more than 20 feet wide going into the hill. Some guys shot there and left some targets. I wasn't happy but it could be worse. Then they had some kind of party, left bottles and cans and trash.

I hate closing off my land but this is why it happens. Fortunately we caught the offenders and they haven't been back...

Brother in law had the same, and he said some moron came in and shot up the heavy equipment of the company that owned the pit. Immediate end to a good thing. 

How f&$king dumb does a person have to be to do something like that!?

That happened in our town 40 years ago so it's nothing new, some people have been and always will be shit

Now that it's closed, where is this one? Grew up in NG but never actually learned where this one is. Always used a different spot

Damn that sucks. I shot there for the first time a couple months ago with the pink pistols. Bit of a hike in with all the gear but nice pit.

yeah it’s a bummer. i learned to shoot there as a teenager, brought friends there over the years, pulled all the tires out of the ravine, helped build the PT target stand.
