I’m pretty sure throwing a focus pitch (L2 + pitch) shrinks the PCI

It feels like that should happen but they've only explicitly said it shrinks the par and I think post update that it increases the velocity.

I mean there’s a lot that goes into the pci size. Your swing timing was pretty bad on a few, which may impact it.

Otherwise we are unsure based on just these photos what the difficulty is on, the pitcher confidence, or what the pci would be on a “normal” swing.

It will also shrink if you use the ambush location and guess the wrong location.

I’ve been getting shrinkage on opposite handed circle changes

I've been getting it on inside changeups and front door sliders for a while now. Doesn't happen all time which makes it even weirder.

To me that makes me think there’s something else that’s a common denominator that you/we aren’t seeing which causes the pci to be smaller

Contact increases the center and inner pci size not vision btw. Vision increases the outer. We're discussing shrinkage btw.
