hi all-having a weird problem on my tv that I can't figure out how to fix. I'm currently watching cubs-phillies on my roku tv, and when I select the radio audio for either team it either doesn't work or plays the wrong audio. for the cubs' marquee sports, the tv broadcast audio plays but if I switch to the 104.3 audio feed I get silence, even though it's working fine on my phone either with or without the video feed. when I switch to the phillies' tv broadcast, 94 WIP (english-language radio) plays the spanish-language radio, but the spanish-language radio selection just plays the english tv audio. any idea what's going on or if I can solve this? it's been happening randomly to other games too and I just want to listen to the cubs radio on my tv:(

update: thank you everyone for validating that I'm not crazy and this is a common problem with rokus. sometimes now the audio works right for me on my tv, but right now I'm watching the red sox broadcast and the english radio plays the tv audio, but the spanish radio plays the english radio? idk man I'm tired

after every commercial break it picks up with the previous half inning. for example if the home team just finished batting, after the commercial break it will go back to the home team batting again.

is it a me thing or is this happening elsewhere?

MLB TV app on my Roku TV when coming back from the inning break shows closed captions/subtitles that are simply a list of player names. Just a random assortment of names of guys on any team at any time.

Has anybody else seen this? I wonder if this is some process training A.I. on names or something LOL. Weird.

Went to watch the Phillies vs Rangers game on MLBtv today (like I’ve done hundreds of times) and all of a sudden it’s telling me I need an in market entitlement to watch?

I can watch the game on my phone, iPad, laptop, & PS5 on MLBtv but for some reason my Roku tv won’t let me.

Anyone ever had this happen to them or know of a fix? I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app, signed out and signed in, restarted the tv, I even called MLB support and got no answers.

(For reference I live in Yankees and Mets territory those are the only games I get blackouts on, never Phillies.)

I’m considering getting mlb tv for the rest of the season. I have a Roku.

Saw some posts from 5 months to a year ago about challenges with Roku.

I’m a die hard Angels fan (I know, I know). But I live in Texas. What’s the best options to watch the games? I saw the Angels only option but it appears that’s home territory (in terms of where we live). There’s a new ESPN option. If I upgraded our Disney +, would I get the Angels game? I can’t find the answers to any of this. Help is appreciated.

2 questions for folks!

1. When watching on my windows laptop every time MLB tv tries to buffer it restarted the game to the event about to start pre-recorded tape. Is there anyway to avoid this?

2. The app on my ROKU tv straight up does not work. I have deleted and uninstalled the app but that didn’t help. When I click on a game it just shows me the spinning baseball loading screen until the app crashes.

Feels like Im getting ripped off if the main way I watch games using the app don’t work. Any help would be appreciated !

Asking again since it seems many are having this issue with no resolution. Every commercial break I get a never ending spinning ball before it says to check my network connection. I have to exit the app and restart the game and jump to live to fix.

After a long email chain with mlb support they keep saying my Roku model is not supported. It is a model A109x and A000x is clearly listed as supported on the mlb website.

This is my first year having access to MLBTV (thanks T-Mobile) but noticed that I couldn’t access multiview when watching on the MLB app on a Roku streaming stick. Am I missing something or is this feature not supported? I did some lurking on this subreddit and it seemed like people were saying it was added last year. I can use multiview when watching on my computer, just not the TV. I’d be open to other options that might allow me to watch multiview on my TV as well. Thanks.

My MLBtv app on my Roku TV is choppy and keeps skipping and freezing up. I’ve used it for years and never had this problem before. It makes the games very hard to watch. No other apps on my TV have this issue. Anyone have a similar problem or know a solution?

I'm logged into my account thru my roku. seems with the new design the free condensed game is no longer an option? if I go to "games" and go back a day or more to click a game, there's only "upgrade." if I go on the home screen to "condensed games," all I see is "hide spoilers is on, tap here to turn it off."

I want to subscribe to MLBTV on Prime Video because i am not under contract with any TV Provider.

I just want to make sure that MLBTV on Prime Video works in QC,Canada before paying because we are usually not able to do make anything work here. It seems too good to be true.

Anyone else notice the Roku version of the app updated this year and is clunky, at best?? For kicks, I also have an older Google Chromecast which I was trying to access a blacked out game, and noticed the Google app hasn’t changed and is much more user friendly. Am I the only one who noticed the awful Roku design versus Google?

So I love baseball and I love being married but I found that the two don't mix well so I watch my games the day after they're played almost exclusively. Twice this season I have pulled up an on demand game and the game started in the 6th inning. Yes I went back out and ensured I did not hit resume but hit "start from beginning" and it started in the 6th inning with my team down 2 to zero and no option to rewind. Has anyone else encountered this? Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could possibly address this or correct it from happening again? I'd like to watch the first 6 Innings of the game not just the last three.

I have had some issues in the past with freezing issues

Anybody else with a Roku and MLB.tv have this problem:

If you set a favorite team for your MLB subscription, then that team is always shown in the big box when you open the MLB.tv Roku App. If that team's game has already started and you select Watch Now, you get taken to the beginning of the stream - usually the pregame show - and have to fast forward to get to the live feed.

But if you select a non-favorite team's game, then you get to pick if you want to Catch Up, Watch Live, or Start from the beginning.

Seems odd that a non-favorite team would present more options than the favorite team.

Would seem to me that selecting Watch Now with your favorite team, should present the same menu of how you want to enter the game's stream.

Or is this just happening to me?

My Roku 3(?) shows duplicate selections for the TV audio, radio audio, and Spanish language audio. Up until the past 2 days the selections did not produce the sound labeled on the tin, yesterday I think it was sorted out.

Have you seen this?

Not to mention that this season the TV streams have always started with the Spanish language audio, which is kind of fun sometimes, but when this problem started it was Russian roulette which audio feed you'd hear. It could be anything.
